It is hard to say without knowing the exact URL but here are some things to consider:

1. Indexing Lag - How long ago did you submit the sitemaps? We usually find there can be at least a few weeks lag between when the sitemaps are submitted and when all the URL's are indexed.
2. Internal Linking - What does your sites internal linking structure look like? Good internal linking like having breadcrumbs, in-text links, sidebar links and siloed URL structuring can help the indexation process.
3. **Sitemap Errors - **Are there currently any sitemap errors listed in Google Search Console? Either on the dashboard or in the sitemaps section? Any issues here could be adding to your problem.

This is an interesting question.

To me, there are 2 big nuances here which are important to understanding to properly answer your question:

1. What industry are you in? If you were a restaurant that just opened 12 months ago, then you would hope that branded searches are increasing over time as this would correlate with an increase in awareness/demand for your offering. However, if you were a tow truck company, something that people only contact when they need it - then you wouldn't expect branded searches to change much.
2. Where do you currently spend your budget? If you are spending in on direct response advertising like unbranded PPC then you wouldn't expect it to move the needle much on branded search. However, if you were investing heavily in 'branding' and 'awareness' type advertising then you would want branded searches to be increasing.

Our company name is Bambrick Media and the URL is https://www.bambrickmedia.com.au/

If anyone could take a look at the local listings appearing for "seo brisbane" and our GMB and let us know their specific take on why we are not appearing that would be amazingly helpful and I would be forever in their debt.

We are bottom of page #1 for "search engine optimisation brisbane" but when it comes to local listings for "seo brisbane" google doesn't seem to think we are of any relevance.

I just responded to your last comment above which may cover some of the answers but I will address them here below just to make it super clear and easy:

1. **What is the exact search term you're trying to rank for? **The exact term we want to rank for is "seo brisbane". Currently we appear on page 2-3 in the organic results for this term but I can't find us anywhere in the local listings so I feel like there might be something big that we are missing here.

2. **What is your city of location? **We are located in Brisbane, Queensland, only a few hundered meters from the city ceter.

3. **Are there any other marketers in your building or on your street? **Not that I know of or can see in the search results for that keyword.
