I was thinking of building links with anything more then a PA of 10 and da of 30 should be fine.

So ICANN is going to be coming out with new custom brand TLD. Essentialy if I have got it right you can register something like .ibm .amazon instead of .com or .org

My problem is I can't seem to find a creative way to leverage this.

I can understand ibm having one for its brand but me ?

What do you think? how can we can make use of this for seo and linkbuilding ?

In addition to what Ryan mentioned I would rename that folder on your server. That will make google's index outdated and you won't get any visitors on the server

I read a post some time back on zemanta and thought its a great idea to build links and it has a great  outreach strategy

The two things you need are alot of quality images and the budget  for the monthly cost.

I do plan to try it in the future and wanted to know if anyone has given it a try here ?

also you can rename it so when google 's index shows up the results you won't get any hits.

if thats what you want.

I don't think ajax used in a search boxx will affect your site

Unless you are using ajax in a module/widget on every page for content and changing that content then maybe but I am not  sure.

As for your other metrics you can use heat maps and surveys to see that.

For that I appreciate seomoz.org's efforts .

another view point is why don't you thin about the end user ?

What is it that you are selling or service your are providing ?

Example : if you are selling your consultancy services then i wud go for .com educational .edu.

Why ? cause of linkbait.  Other edu will link to another edu but .com or .org might not get it.

1. cause you can't get .org tld easily.

2. What ever said and done .org is considered more for non profit  .com  is more for commercial. Even if seomoz.org has it the other way.

3. its not true that .org gets higher rankings.

check list:

1. ) 404 , done

2. 301 done

3. Been two months so by now google must have settled down with the traffic

4. How about on page factors ?

• page Title

-Layout

• ads

• Site speed

• Linking outside

U need to check if they are all the same.

if its not this then I am afraid I can't come up with anymore points to help you with

while this maybe true in the general since I would like to however point out that the loss of traffic is caused due to shifting of the domain.

How long has it been since you have moved your site ?

I wud check google webmaster for 404 and crawl errors and fix them first.

I would then do the same in using seo moz tools.

After all that I would do a complete 301 from the old domain to the new domain.

cool, if you have multiple feeds and a lot of subscribers google might take your q and a section and rank it in its discussion section.

I don't have proof but I know yahoo has this feature
