I think there's a lot more in play then just if the user has only responded once.  I think the whole account will be looked at.  Do the reviews come in at random? Or, do 5 come in at once?  We've got a few clients with local accounts and are doing great with just a reviews from people who haven't reviewed anything before on Google.

For Google, we've never had a problem with reviews not sticking. I've never used Yelp before for the reviews though.

No matter what, it is a pain in the butt.  We've moved three times and have three different addresses listed all around the web.  Tackling this is a huge project and takes a lot of time.  I'd suggest worrying only about the big players that show up when you search your brand.

I'd rather have one strong listing versus two listings.  Plus, having address listed as some where else can confuse clients as to where to go or mail items.

If the site is still registered you might be able to get the registar login info and point it a new server to 301 it.

Other wise you've just got the hurry up and wait game.  You can start by find the sites that link to the old domain and get them to change the link to the new one.  Time consuming, but really your only option if you can't change the nameservers.

With over 7 million results being returned for rummage (this is without doing my research) I'd wager it will be a little tough for SEO with a new site.  Just keeping plugging away and you'll see your site come back up before long.

If Google gave you a penalty, you'd probably have a message in Webmaster Tools.

I did a search for your url and you popped up.  Also did a search for: best way to browse ebay.  You're on page 1 for that.

Often times with newer sites they rank, bounce around for a minute then disappear from certain keywords.  Just keep going with your SEO and add in social media to start building your brand around rummage.

You might want to consider some on-page SEO since really all the SEs have to go on is your title tag and your header.  Perhaps a pinpoint about us blurb to be placed at the top of the site?

Do you have access to their old FTP?

or do you have access to change the old nameservers?

I think it's best to use YouTube or another video host versus having the videos on your site.

So far no.  Until they fix that little error you can use Google Webmaster Tool's to double check for real duplicate content.

The spider is seeing whatever.php?var=1 as a different page because some sites just use index.php?p=103 to be a page and p=102 another page. While others use the variables in the URL on the same page.

So far I have not found a way to exclude that from the SEOmoz scan of the website.

The good news is the GWT doesn't show duplicate content errors like SEOmoz does.  If anything you can send a feature request to see if that can get taken care of.

Does your old domain have TN or the old company in it?

If not, I'd suggest just altering your website for the new market.  Keep all the same URLs the best that you can to continue getting link juice from your old links.  If TN or old company name is in the URL then the best thing is as Anthony and you said and do a 301 redirect.

For our clients that want their own sites for either mortgages or real estate we always push for them to choose a unique domain name outside of the company or geographic area for this exact reason.  This helps them by not having to start from ground zero or lose some juice from the 301.

P.S. Don't worry about still ranking in TN.  If you happen to get a lead from TN you can throw it to one of your old buddies and get a referral bonus or at least karma points.

It depends on your goal.  If your goal was just to get +1's to be higher in Google's social search then just plus one your site.  If you want to stay in touch with the people who've +1 you then you need to use your page.

And none of that really matters as Google has provided a way to link your website to your business page.

I did a review of his keywords and his site is competitive link wise with the top 3.  The only thing I could find was duplicate content which would play into the timing of the Panda update.

Early Feb 3 Google announced 17 search quality highlights which they mention and update to Panda for quality sites.  Your site might have been caught up in that.

It depends.  I've seen mine updated with 24 hours and then sometimes it can takes weeks for any update to occur.

Even thought GWT might not be showing your changes, that doesn't mean Google spider and the actual search part of Google hasn't already seen and given you those additions.  GWT doesn't seem to tap directly into the Google back end stuff but seems to have its own way of updating.

Have the links change when using Open Site Explorer here?

About what date did the drop occur?  If around April 24th, the it was an algorithm update that changed you.

Has your server had any downtime or slowness to it?

And, lastly what's the keyword you fell in (and  I assume it's for the site in your profile)?

Yes use bread crumbs and also use contextual links.  Regardless of what Google says or people think for the SEO aspect.  These additions help your users.

In addition you can tag your contextual links with something like product-page.html?ref=context.

Then in Google Analytics you'll be able to see if these links are being used.  And if so, how you can make the user experience even better.
