What is the Redirect Rule for corresponding https urls to new domain with the same https urls?
2 sites have the same urls but the owner wants just the 1 site. So I will be doing a 301 redirect with .htaccess from
https://www.example.co.uk/sportsbook/SOCCER/today/
redirecting to
https://www.example.com//sportsbook/SOCCER/today/
There are a lot of urls that are the same, so I was wondering what the rule is to put in the file please that will change them all to the corresponding urls?
Would this be correct?...
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTPS_HOST} ^example.co.uk [NC,OR]
RewriteCond %{HTTPS_HOST} ^www.example.co.uk [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://example.com$1 [L,R=301,NC]Or would a simple rule like this work... redirect 301 / http://www.new domain.com/
If not correct could you please give me the correct rule, thanks!
Then of course doing a change of address of address in webmaster tools after.
Also... do I still need to do the forwarding from the https://www.example.co.uk/ domain provider after as well?
Many thanks for your help in advance.

How will this affect the rankings and traffic of the new site once this happens?
Hi, we will be moving a clients’ site address from one domain to another and will of course be doing 301 redirects and notifying Google of the site address change in WMT.
The problem is, that at some point in the future (say 3-6 months), the old domain will be going live with a new site as the current client does not own the domain and the owner will be wanting it back unfortunately.
How will this affect the rankings and traffic of the new site (new domain) once this (old domain with new site) happens? Will the site address change be enough to keep the rankings but it will lose backlink traffic? Or will rankings go down since the 301 redirects will in essence no longer be in affect?
Many thanks for your help in advance.

Moz Local Duplicating Street Address
Hi,
Whenever I done a lookup for a client we were hoping to get on Moz Local, the listing that appeared has a repeating street address.
For Example:
123 Some Street, 123 Some Street, Some City, Some ZIP Code
I have checked Google Plus / Google My Business and no such repetition is there, however, under the Incomplete section it's showing Google as the one that's incorrect, but when I click through to Google the address is correct - see attached images...
I have gone through all the other listings and they are correct from what I can see through the Moz Report.
Also, this is happening with more than one address that I have checked - see attached images.
If anyone has any input on the matter it would be greatly appreciated. I have posted this before and got no definitive answer, it then hit page two and we all know what happens when it does that.

RE: Moz Local Duplicating Street Address
Hi David,
Thanks for your response.
I have gone through them all, the other listings are correct from what I can see through the Moz Report.
Also, this is happening with more than one address that I have checked - see attached images.
Under the Incomplete section it's showing Google as the one that's incorrect, however, when I click through to Google the address is correct - again, see attached images.
Any other suggestions let me know
Looks like your connection to Moz was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
