Why can't anyone check in on my Facebook Page?

Once upon a time, we were able to check in at our office on Facebook. Then, one day, we just...couldn't.
I didn't (at least intentionally) change any settings on the page. I can't seem to even find a setting for this. What happened, and how do I fix it?

Hrm. That's very odd since you changed your business stuff, it's not showing on your page as changed. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what exactly is going on. It looks like to me -- from reading Facebook's dev forums -- that you're not the only one with this problem and that Facebook itself hasn't come out with a solution or answered anyone's questions. I'll poke around some more and keep my eye out, but unfortunately, I'm not really sure how to fix this.

So I'm still seeing your category as "Travel & Transportation" not "Local Business." I've attached a screenshot of where you need to make it a "Local Business" in the categories in settings in order to enable check-in functionality.

In order to have check-ins on Facebook, you must have the category of your page listed as a "local business." Currently, it's set at "Travel & Transportation." I'm not sure how long it takes once you switch it over to get back the check-in ability.

Hmmmm, I'm not aware of an update that we haven't done. We did change our address, but this problem started MONTHS before we moved.

Did you upgrade or not upgrade your page, i believe Facebook went through an update a while back, maybe you missed it? Did you change your address? can you leave the url in here so we can look?

Facebook.com / referral - What is it?
Hi Moz community! Coming to you today to ask a two fold question about a mysterious source/medium combination and also social medium data in general. First question relates to the attached image named 'Facebook Referral.' We've made sure to apply correct tags to all of our campaigns, both organic and paid, and are having a difficult time figuring out where this source/medium comes from which is a bit troubling as it actually has pulled in some revenue over the past couple of months The second question is around general Facebook data. Our Facebook business manager is vastly over reporting clicks to landing pages. For instance, we saw about 1,700 clicks to site as reported by Facebook business manager, whereas Google Analytics only registered about 950. I know data between the two channels rarely lines up perfectly, but this seems like a rather wide variance. I have a client whose FB page has a 5 star rating (apparently from 5 reviews) but I have no clue from where they are aggregated? I tried Google-ing for answers with no luck! Any idea? How do I remove 11,000 spam facebook page likes received overnight complete with negative ratings/reviews?
My page has 11,000 spammed page likes. Only 250 are legitimate. These spammers are leaving 1 star ratings. Facebook is limiting the number of likes I can delete. I can report some fake ratings as spam but, again, facebook is limiting what I see. Any suggestions on how to proceed? Update: I found a work around for the negative ratings/reviews. I can change the category of my page to "other community" to remove the rating system from the page https://www.facebook.com/changeratings/posts/445471405558046. That still leaves me with 11,000 illegitimate likes that are stealing away from my 250 legitimate fans from seeing our posts. Should I start over?

Facebook doesn't "read" pages: 206 responsecode: Could not retrieve data from URL
Hello, Since shortly, every page of our website ecoheating.be doesn't get "read" by Google. So when you paste a page in Facebook, he doesn't get the title, description, image... FB Debugger says there's a 206 Error code (check attachment). A lot of changes are done the last weeks on this site so perhaps something is misconfigured. But what could this be? Facebook Pages - Best to have one page or multiple pages when a company has multiple locations?
I'm working with a business that has multiple locations (13) in several different states. Is it best practice to have one central FB page for the company and/or separate location pages? It's for a self storage company that does not have one central phone number, so each location would have separate information listed on the page. They do have a central website with different pages for each location. I'd love to hear the communities thoughts on the best way to handle this.
