Why isn't my homepage number #1 when searching my brand name?

Hi! So we recently (a month ago) lunched a new website, we have great content that updates everyday, we're active on social platforms, and we did all that's possible, at the moment, when it comes to on site optimization (a web developer will join our team this month and help us fix all the rest). When I search for our brand name all our social profiles come up first, after them we have a few inner pages from our different news sections, but our homepage is somewhere in the 2nd search page... What may be the reason for that? Is it just a matter of time or is there a problem with our homepage I'm unable to find?

100% agree. It's going to take some time. Right now Google doesn't really understand that term as a brand name and the search results are a bit wacky in my opinion. You shouldn't have a problem moving up.
The more backlinks you earn with 'primepair' as the anchor text, the better off you will be.

The site's pretty new, so it may take some time. According to Moz, you have no backlinks to your site and a DA/PA of 1. Just keep up with what you're doing, build some decent links and you'll soon see the fruits of your labour.

our site url is - http://primepair.com brand name "primepair", there's a wiki page and some edu sites on the first page... I assume they'll be a difficult competitors for the #1 place...
We're on all the webmaster toold, excluding yandex, which I'll connect now.

The site has way too little content -- a couple of pages less than 200 characters per page.

The site is very new and in none of the Webmaster Tools

Or the brand is a generic word that is reasonably competitive.
As Sam mentioned above, with more details the community can get you a much more definitive and nuanced answer. Within your social profiles make sure you're linking back to your site and if your site has a physical location make sure to optimize via local search as well.

Review rich snippet isn't appearing anymore
Hi, We have recently lost the review rich snippet for product that used to consistently show it for a long time. On top of that we have also lost the breadcrumb. The markup hasn't changed on these pages and gwt data tool tester doesn't show any anomalies. A few weeks back we have deployed a new property that list reviews from the first site without actually being under the same domain. Would that be an issue, review may have been considered as plagiarism somehow? Is there a way for us to confirm this theory? What are others factors that may have lead us to lose those rich snippet? Suite Numbers and Schema
A potentially stupid question. Is the suite number included within the tag, or should it sit outside of it? The reason I ask is because (a) I've seen it where the suite number sits outside that tag and (b) Google My Business best practices, I've been told (by Google support), is to include the suite in the second address line. I'm wondering if that translates in some way to the local schema on your site. On the other hand, it makes sense to include your suite number within the streetAddress span tag, but sometimes what makes sense doesn't really make sense when you know more, so I'm just covering my bases. H1 Tag as Logo on the Homepage.
So I was working on a Genesis theme website where they have the H1 Tag as the Logo on the homepage. I wanted this changed because I always use my H1 tag to include a keyword I want to rank for. I was told by the Genesis Forum Manager that Yoast said the Logo should be the H1 tag on the homepage. (Yoast has a WP SEO Plugin that is very popular) That makes no sense to me, so I was looking for Opinions. Thanks,

We're no longer turning up in Google SERP for our brand search when we used to be #1 after our site update. Any ideas why?
We recently updated our website and during the push, someone mistakenly 301 redirected "www.brandx.com" to "brandx.com" instead of the otherway. Since then, our website no longer turns up for the search "brandx" on Google. We have reversed the mistake a few days ago, but we're still not turning up, and we used to rank #1 in Google SERP. Could it just be due to timing between the crawls and that our www. site didn't make it in Google's index due to this mistake? We have submitted our new sitemap to google a couple of days ago as well, as a side we're still showing up #1 in Bing's results however. And it should still show up based on SEOMoz's SERP report. Any help would help as I'm growing increasingly concerned.

Best way to handle indexed pages you don't want indexed
We've had a lot of pages indexed by google which we didn't want indexed. They relate to a ajax category filter module that works ok for front end customers but under the bonnet google has been following all of the links. I've put a rule in the robots.txt file to stop google from following any dynamic pages (with a ?) and also any ajax pages but the pages are still indexed on google. At the moment there is over 5000 pages which have been indexed which I don't want on there and I'm worried is causing issues with my rankings. Getting a link removed from brand search - please help!
Hello all you mozzers! Ive just come into work with an established company who have one major problem when you google "palicomp" the second link that comes up is to consumeractiongroup with a thread that has been damaging the business for over 2 years, this thread is absolutely not representative of the business today. Strangely stronger links in search have better authority but google has ranked this post as being highly relevant to the business, does anybody know of any strategies we can do to get this removed, we have contacted consumeractiongroup directly but they are not prepared to move it. Does anyone have any idea of removal ideas or what we can do its crippling our business, we cant work out as to why its ranking better! Chris

According to 1 of my PRO campaigns - I have 250+ pages with Duplicate Content - Could my empty 'tag' pages be to blame?
Like I said, my one of my moz reports is showing 250+ pages with duplicate content. should I just delete the tag pages? Is that worth my time? how do I alert SEOmoz that the changes have been made, so that they show up in my next report?
