Is there a tool to search for multiple allintitle:"keyword phrase"
-
Hi I wondering if there is a tool that can search multiple all in title exact keyword phrases searches say 250 - 300 terms at a time.
I like to compare exact phrase search results to all indexed pages that google has indexed, trust me when I say It sucks doing this one at a time

Hi Mark,
Yes, there is a tool that does this exact job: https://allintitle.co
You can search for multiple keywords at once (500 keywords for example) and then export results to a CSV file. It also gives search volume, Google trends info, Keyword Golden Ration score (KGR), SERP overview as well as Cost Per Click info.
Hope it helps.

i would look at http://www.distilled.net/blog/distilled/guide-to-google-docs-importxml/ which should get you pointed in the right direction...basically you will be building a mini scraper to pull in the data you want from the search results into your google doc.

HI Chris Thank you for the answer. I usually do 2 searches the first is a general keyword phrase like big red bike, I then look at the number of results and put that number in excel
My next search is for "big red bikes" again I look at the results and put in the number of results in excel
Finally I search for allintitle:"big red bikes" and that gives me the number of pages that google has indexed with the keyword phrase. if the number of indexed pages is low compared to a high general result I create a page with that title for a better chance of ranking for that keyword phrase.
If I was to do this is google docs is it easy to set up and if so can you point me to a link

you could probably build something with Google Docs that would help streamline the process. are you basically interested in pulling the number from something like this "About 348,000 results (0.06 seconds) " - extracting the 348,000 number to use in your data? if so, it would take some work but could be done in Google Docs....
btw, you would be able to get up to 50 results at a time with Google Docs since they put a cap on the number of importxml functions you can run in a spreadsheet. but it would be better than running 50 different manual searches

Looking for tools to benchmark an industry
Hi everyone - I'm trying to benchmark an entire industry. Given that Google seems to adjust what ranking signals should be counted more heavily based on the industry/query - I'd like to be able to benchmark a specific industry. As a silly example - let's say I want to know what ranking signals would most effect coffee shops, real estate agents, or manufacturers. Has anyone here ever found an efficient way to analyze: 1. Who the top 10 are for 5-10 keywords, in that industry 2. What they have in common (e.g. meta info, content length, ssl certs, etc.) 3. What were the differences in the higher ranking ones (domain name registration age, content quality, etc.) It seems like there has to be a way to do this given that Moz, SEM Rush, and others release yearly reports that detail which ranking signals seem to be most important. I'd just like to be able to know what the top ranking signals are for a specific industry, based off of who is ranking really well in that industry already. Thanks!

Tools for finding quality backlinks
Hello Moz Community, A friend of mine who runs an SEO agency uses a few tools to email dozens of websites a day in a semi-automated fashion. We share knowledge a lot, but I still don't know what he uses for this. Can anyone recommend a tool that would help find industry-relevant websites that could accommodate a backlink? I'm looking for a tool that will generate emails to the contacts for each website. Any suggestions would be appreciated! ps. If anyone has any other recommendations for tools for finding good industry-specific citations, please let me know! Thanks, Anton Vasiliv

Free proofreading tool
Does anyone use any free / open source profreading tool that not only corrects spelling, double-spacing and capital letters, but also meaning. Let's say it will tell you verb or subject is missing in the sentence. Or that a sentence doesn't make sense, such as 'Dog English he does looks well twelve'. Thanks. Katarina

Best Keyword tool with global search numbers
I am curious to hear from Moz community about the best keyword tool right now which gives most accurate numbers as Google is hiding the numbers. I have used few tools which allows us to check volume for different countries; but would like to know which tool even has the global search volume & search volume for "multiple" selected countries. Thanks

Using Google Custom Search for custom 404 pages?
I'm looking to create a better 404 page. I'm looking at integrating Google Search as a custom 404 page. I found this article: https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2014/08/a-better-404-page/ Basically, I want to grab whatever keyword(s) are in the broken page's URL and present custom Google search result to be displayed on the 404 page. Kind of like a "were you looking for this?" type of layout. Does anyone have experience with implementing this? Someone on my organization said that Google may "penalize" such practices.
