If you're using Google Search Console or a similar tool, look into the crawl rate and crawl stats. This information can provide insights into how often search engines are accessing your site.

Hello Moz,
I have a site, [https://8171ehsaasprogramme.pk], but I'm encountering an error while trying to add it to Moz. It says it can't gather any data. What can I do to resolve this issue?
-
@JorahKhan Hey there! It sounds like you're dealing with some crawling and redirection issues on your website. One possible solution could be to check your site's robots.txt file to ensure it's configured correctly for crawling. Additionally, inspect your server-side redirects and make sure they're set up properly. If the issue persists, consider reaching out to your hosting provider for further assistance. By the way, I faced a similar problem on my website https://rapysports.com/, but it's now running smoothly after implementing this strategy. So, give it a shot! Good luck, and I hope your website runs smoothly soon!

To fix website crawling errors, review robots.txt, sitemaps, and server settings. Ensure proper URL structure, minimize redirects, and use canonical tags for duplicate content. Validate HTML, improve page load speed, and maintain a clean backlink profile.

cool really cool

There are a few general things you can try to troubleshoot the issue. First, ensure that you have entered the correct URL for your website. Double-check for any typos or errors in the URL.
Next, try clearing your browser cache and cookies and then attempting to add your website again. This can sometimes solve issues related to website data not being gathered properly.
If these steps don't work, you can contact Moz's customer support for further assistance. They have a dedicated support team that can help you with any technical issues related to their platform.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions or if there is anything else I can assist you with.
Best Regards

If we are experiencing crawling errors on your website, it is important to address them promptly as they can negatively impact our search engine rankings and the overall user experience of our website.
Here are some steps we can take to address crawling errors:
Identify the specific error: Use a tool like Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster Tools to identify the specific errors that are occurring. These tools will provide detailed information about the errors, such as the affected pages and the type of error.
Fix the error: Once we have identified the error, take the necessary steps to fix it. For example, if the error is a 404 page not found error, we may need to update the URL or redirect the page to a new location. If the error is related to server connectivity or DNS issues, we may need to work with our hosting provider to resolve the issue.
Monitor for additional errors: After fixing the initial error, continue to monitor our website for additional errors. Use the crawling tools to identify any new errors that may arise and address them promptly.
Submit a sitemap: Submitting a sitemap to search engines can help ensure that all of our website's pages are indexed and crawled properly. Make sure that our sitemap is up-to-date and includes all of our website's pages.
By following these steps, we can help ensure that our website is properly crawled and indexed by search engines, which can improve our search engine rankings and the overall user experience of our website.
I have fixed the same problem with my built image editing service providing the company's website

the same problem with me created in the crawling process.
with my own website https://tracked.ai/Accelerated.aspx. -
These types of issues are pretty easy to detect and solve by simply checking your meta tags and robots.txt file, which is why you should look at it first. The whole website or certain pages can remain unseen by Google for a simple reason: its site crawlers are not allowed to enter them.
There are several bot commands, which will prevent page crawling. Note, that it’s not a mistake to have these parameters in robots.txt; used properly and accurately these parameters will help to save a crawl budget and give bots the exact direction they need to follow in order to crawl pages you want to be crawled.
You can detect this issue checking if your page’s code contains these directive:
<meta name="robots" content="noindex" />
<meta name="robots" content="nofollow"> -

Unsolved Question about a Screaming Frog crawling issue
Hello, I have a very peculiar question about an issue I'm having when working on a website. It's a WordPress site and I'm using a generic plug in for title and meta updates. When I go to crawl the site through screaming frog, however, there seems to be a hard coded title tag that I can't find anywhere and the plug in updates don't get crawled. If anyone has any suggestions, thatd be great. Thanks!

Dynamic Canonical Tag for Search Results Filtering Page
Hi everyone, I run a website in the travel industry where most users land on a location page (e.g. domain.com/product/location, before performing a search by selecting dates and times. This then takes them to a pre filtered dynamic search results page with options for their selected location on a separate URL (e.g. /book/results). The /book/results page can only be accessed on our website by performing a search, and URL's with search parameters from this page have never been indexed in the past. We work with some large partners who use our booking engine who have recently started linking to these pre filtered search results pages. This is not being done on a large scale and at present we only have a couple of hundred of these search results pages indexed. I could easily add a noindex or self-referencing canonical tag to the /book/results page to remove them, however it’s been suggested that adding a dynamic canonical tag to our pre filtered results pages pointing to the location page (based on the location information in the query string) could be beneficial for the SEO of our location pages. This makes sense as the partner websites that link to our /book/results page are very high authority and any way that this could be passed to our location pages (which are our most important in terms of rankings) sounds good, however I have a couple of concerns. • Is using a dynamic canonical tag in this way considered spammy / manipulative? • Whilst all the content that appears on the pre filtered /book/results page is present on the static location page where the search initiates and which the canonical tag would point to, it is presented differently and there is a lot more content on the static location page that isn’t present on the /book/results page. Is this likely to see the canonical tag being ignored / link equity not being passed as hoped, and are there greater risks to this that I should be worried about? I can’t find many examples of other sites where this has been implemented but the closest would probably be booking.com. https://www.booking.com/searchresults.it.html?label=gen173nr-1FCAEoggI46AdIM1gEaFCIAQGYARS4ARfIAQzYAQHoAQH4AQuIAgGoAgO4ArajrpcGwAIB0gIkYmUxYjNlZWMtYWQzMi00NWJmLTk5NTItNzY1MzljZTVhOTk02AIG4AIB&sid=d4030ebf4f04bb7ddcb2b04d1bade521&dest_id=-2601889&dest_type=city& Canonical points to https://www.booking.com/city/gb/london.it.html In our scenario however there is a greater difference between the content on both pages (and booking.com have a load of search results pages indexed which is not what we’re looking for) Would be great to get any feedback on this before I rule it out. Thanks!

Can't get Google to index our site although all seems very good
Hi there, I am having issues getting our new site, https://vintners.co indexed by Google although it seems all technical and content requirements are well in place for it. In the past, I had way poorer websites running with very bad setups and performance indexed faster. What's concerning me, among others, is that the crawler of Google comes from time to time when looking on Google Search Console but does not seem to make progress or to even follow any link and the evolution does not seem to do what google says in GSC help. For instance, our sitemap.xml was submitted, for a few days, it seemed like it had an impact as many pages were then visible in the coverage report, showing them as "detected but not yet indexed" and now, they disappeared from the coverage report, it's like if it was not detected any more. Anybody has any advice to speed up or accelerate the indexing of a new website like ours? It's been launched since now almost two months and I was expected, at least on some core keywords, to quickly get indexed.

How to get rid of bot verification errors
I have a client who sells highly technical products and has lots and lots (a couple of hundred) pdf datasheets that can be downloaded from their website. But in order to download a datasheet, a user has to register on the site. Once they are registered, they can download whatever they want (I know this isn't a good idea but this wasn't set up by us and is historical). On doing a Moz crawl of the site, it came up with a couple of hundred 401 errors. When I investigated, they are all pages where there is a button to click through to get one of these downloads. The Moz error report calls the error "Bot verification". My questions are:
Technical SEO | | mfrgolfgti
Are these really errors?
If so, what can I do to fix them?
If not, can I just tell Moz to ignore them or will this cause bigger problems?0
