Google redirect backlink created. Do I have to ping this for Moz to recognize it?

When you create a Google redirect backlink, it's not necessary to ping it for Moz to recognize it. Moz's web crawlers will eventually discover and index the backlink as they crawl the web. However, pinging the backlink might expedite the process of discovery, especially if you want Moz to recognize it quickly.
Pinging refers to notifying search engines or other web services about new content or changes on your website. While it's not mandatory for Moz to recognize backlinks, it can be a proactive step to ensure that the backlink is indexed promptly.
To ping the backlink, you can use various online ping services or tools that notify search engines about new URLs. Additionally, you can submit the URL directly to Moz using their Link Explorer tool, which allows you to analyze backlinks and track their performance.
Keep in mind that while pinging the backlink may help speed up the indexing process, it's just one of many factors that influence how quickly search engines and tools like Moz discover and index new links. Other factors such as the authority of the linking site, the frequency of crawls, and the relevance of the content also play a role in determining when the backlink will be recognized.

Yes, it's a good idea to ping the backlink to help Moz recognize it faster. Pinging can expedite the indexing process and improve the visibility of the backlink in Moz's metrics.
-
Pinging the backlink might help Moz recognize it faster, but it's not always necessary. Moz typically discovers backlinks through its web crawler. However, if you're looking for quicker recognition, pinging could be worth a try. Keep monitoring your backlink profile for updates.

Modern search engines like Google, Bing, and Baidu constantly crawl the web and discover new content, including backlinks, through various methods. Pinging a backlink won't significantly impact this process.
Tools like Moz rely on their own sophisticated algorithms and data sources to discover and track backlinks. Manually pinging them usually isn't necessary. -
@muhammadtariq76 yes, i can do your da pa checking websites is good , this is actually improve your backlink authority of websites.

Pinging a backlink is not typically necessary for search engines or tools like Moz to recognize it. Search engines, including Google, have sophisticated algorithms that automatically discover and index new content, including backlinks. They regularly crawl the web to update their databases.
However, if you've created a new backlink and want to expedite the indexing process, you can manually submit the URL to the Google Search Console. This can help Google discover and index the backlink faster.
As for Moz, their crawler, known as Rogerbot, operates independently of Google's indexing process. Moz will discover and update its index of backlinks during its own crawling and updating schedule. There's generally no need to ping backlinks explicitly for Moz to recognize them.
In summary, while pinging might not be necessary for Google or Moz to recognize a backlink, manually submitting the URL to the Google Search Console can be a proactive step to ensure quicker indexing by Google.

@dlwnsh0510 <<<<< First of all. You are an idiot and do not belong on this MOZ forum or the entire internet. Please throw away all your computing devices and then paint the word (Idiot Spammer) on your head.
So. it would seem you are just wanting to cheat the MOZ DA ranking system by ceating a fake DA score using redirect notices.
This is only done by scammers and fools who don't understand how SEO or internet metrics actually works.
Are you aware that by doing what you are doing you causing a great deal of harm to the website? Most people understand now fake MOZ DA scores and how to see them. Also, doing this makes the resale value of the domain drop down to $0 dollars. It will kill all its worth because everyone knows its a fake domain with a fake DA score.
I suggest you learn about real link building that actually works for SEO instead of using junk worthless redirect notices to fake the DA score.
In case you really are that stupid. Allow me to educate you. The redirect notices that you are trying to create DO NOT have any effect on SEO, rankings or traffic. It only causes a fake MOZ DA score to show. Your true DA will still organically be ZERO you fool.
Please, as I said before. Through away your computer, laptop and mobile phone. You are too stupid and don't deserve to be blessed with technology after thinking cheating and shortcuts are the best way to use it.
Now buzz off and wither away quietly in some dark corner of the earth.

No, you don't necessarily have to ping backlinks for Moz or any other search engine optimization (SEO) tool to recognize them. Most modern search engines, including Moz, regularly crawl and index the web to discover new links and update their databases.
However, if you want to ensure that search engines discover your new backlinks quickly, you can take the following steps:
Submit your sitemap: Make sure your website has a sitemap and submit it to major search engines like Google and Bing. This can help search engines find and index your new pages and backlinks more efficiently.
Social media sharing: Share your content on social media platforms. Search engines often crawl social media sites, and sharing your content there can help in quicker indexing.
Quality content: Create high-quality and relevant content. Search engines are more likely to crawl and index pages with valuable content.
Fetch as Google: If you use Google Search Console, you can use the "Fetch as Google" feature to manually request indexing for specific pages.
Pinging backlinks is a practice that was more common in the past, but search engines have evolved, and the need for manual pinging has diminished. The best approach is to focus on creating quality content, ensuring your website is well-structured and easily crawlable, and leveraging tools like Google Search Console for monitoring and managing your site's presence in search results.

You don't necessarily need to ping backlinks for Moz or other search engines to recognize them. Search engines have sophisticated crawling mechanisms that regularly discover and index new content, including backlinks. However, if you want to expedite the process and ensure that the backlink is noticed sooner, you can take the following steps:
Fetch as Google (Google Search Console):
Use the "Fetch as Google" tool in Google Search Console. This tool allows you to submit URLs directly to Google for crawling.
Submit Sitemap:Ensure that your website's sitemap is updated and contains the URL with the new backlink. Submit the sitemap to Google Search Console.
Social Media Sharing:Share the page containing the backlink on your social media platforms. Search engines often crawl social media sites frequently.
Ping Services:While it's not a guarantee, you can use ping services like Ping-O-Matic or Google Ping to notify search engines about updates on your site.
Internal Linking:Create an internal link from another page on your website to the page with the new backlink. Internal linking can help search engines discover and crawl pages more efficiently.
Monitor with Moz:Keep an eye on your Moz account to see if the backlink is eventually discovered and included in your link profile. Moz, like other SEO tools, regularly updates its database.

Backlinks from The Sun, New Yor Post, etc...
Hello there, Some of my competitors have backlinks from very well-known newspaper websites like New York Post or The Sun. And it is really obvious that their backlinks are paid ones. On these news websites, they don't talk about ghost writing stuff or "partnership" for backlinks. They only write about banner advertising. So I was wondering how they can get a backlink from them.

Do some writers sell those backlinks somewhere else, under the table? Are they in contact with SEO agencies who paid them and if this is the case, does their "manager" know it? or does the company directly have partnerships with SEO agencies? Basically, how to get a backlink from the NY Post or The Sun ? Thanks0 -

But, I was looking at my backlinks and noticed that I had some go to a page that resembles my site, but had porn words on it. however, it would link to a place on my site. Under more information it has a real link to my site. What is this? I noticed the domain authority was in I believe the 70's; but PA was in 40's. I am new, so can someone explain this. Thank you. example below:

Fastest way to get new backlinks recognised by Moz?
Hi all, I have seen a few discussions / advice pieces around this, but wondered what the current view is on the fastest way to get new backlinks recognised by Moz? I have seen people say that the content needs to be shared (e.g. on Twitter), and advice around creating Bitly links. I am not convinced that these techniques are working. On a related note, my website is very large. I have around 2.5m pages. Most of these pages are 3-4 clicks from the home page, but I have a small amount of important content much higher up in the site (1-2 clicks from the home page). Does Moz crawl pages nearer the home page more frequently, or does it make a pass of all pages on the site before it starts at the beginning again? If it makes a complete pass of all pages, then presumably making my site smaller will help to get Moz to see new content more quickly? Is there any other value to be gained in making a large site smaller? Many thanks in advance, Neil.

Does using Sucuri block Moz?
I am using Opensite explorer on my site which uses Sucuri and it shows 0 for everything. Does Sucuri stop MOZ from reading the link? I also suspect that using Sucuri has made my SEO suffer because the first page is always saying "redirecting" . Anyone with experience to this? Thanks
