Duplicate contents with competitors websites

Hello,
I have use the http://copyscape.com to check the duplicate content and found that my website have some errors duplicate contents with other competitors website. But a problem is, I could not define the reason of this (my website copied the competitors website or they copied of mine)
To solve this issues, should I modify a unique my contents (this is difficult) or anyone have a good solution for this problem? Please give me advice?

If the content is originally yours, then you can add canonical tags. It's not a guarantee that the search engines will follow those tags, but it's a start. You could also try to report the competitor site to Google and Bing and tell them they are stealing your content. Keep in mind the search engines usually take a while to respond.
If your site stole the content, then you just need to remove it and create your own, unique content.

Parent pages : Duplicate content
Hello, I think this question relates to "Parent pages" structure or SILO but I couldn't find an answer online. For a website that sell products, for example "Appliances". A link to this page appears in 1 category of the menu named "kitchen" but also in another 1 category named "household appliances". It means that it appears twice in the menu but with a unique URL. Has your site ever been targeted by malicious link building executed by a competitor?
I'm pretty sure one of my client's sites has been targeted by malicious black hat link building tactics employed by a competitor site. Over the last few weeks we've gotten 100s of super low quality spammy backlinks. No one has been doing link building, so the only thing I can think of is that competitor entered our URL into some spammy backlink building sites. Has anyone else experienced this? It's the real estate industry, so I wouldn't be surprised considering how competitive it is, but I'd love to hear your experiences.

How to identify spammy website before making backlinks on them
Hi, I search in google but didnt find a proper answer for this! maybe search an incorrect keyword! The question is, How can I find out a website that I'm going to make a backlink on is a spammy website? Website Ranking well in Mobile but not in Desktop
Hello guys, Recently we are experiencing good rankings for our targeted keywords in mobile but in desktop the rankings are not progressing. For example, in Mobile, our main targetted keyword ranks in 7th position but in Desktop we are stuck in 11th position.
