Set Placeholder Page ASAP or Wait For Full Website?

It can take some time for a new business website to get picked up by all the search engines and indexed.
Let's assume it's going to take a month to build your new full-fledged business website. Would it be advantageous in the mean time to immediately launch the domain with an introductory website using a template site so you might have just two pages, a home page with logo, title, brief description of pages, a couple images, etc and a contact page. Would this help give the site a "jump start" on being indexed?
Or could that do more harm than good by putting up something "quick & dirty" versus the complete website with much more content, that has been SEO optimized?

I don't believe that it "hurts" to put up a temporary site. However, if it subtracts from your time of getting your real site up then that is a sacrifice.
I would rather put up the first few pages of my real site a day or two early than get a temporary site up a week before.
The only exception is that I would want something up ASAP if I knew that important people were looking for me.

Hi, I have seen number of websites where they keep their website homepage as first link from every page of sub folders and even from sub domain pages some times. For example, giving website homepage as top navigational menu from every page in their blog. Hello, I use the divi theme and got pages that were automatically generated with images. Is google going to penalise me because of those and consider it is thin content ? Should I remove those ? Thank you,

Spammy page with canonical reference to my website
A potentially spammy website http://www.rofof.com/ has included a rel canonical tag pointing to my website. They've included the tag on thousands of pages on their website. Furthermore http://www.rofof.com/ appears to have backlinks from thousands of other low-value domains For example www.kazamiza.com/vb/kazamiza242122/, along with thousands of other pages on thousands of other domains all link to pages on rofof.com, and the pages they link to on rofof.com are all canonicalized to a page on my site. If Google does respect the canonical tag on rofof.com and treats it as part of my website then the thousands of spammy links that point to rofof.com could be considered as pointing to my website. I'm trying to contact the owner of www.rofof.com hoping to have the canonical tag removed from their website. In the meantime, I've disavowed the www.rofof.com, the site that has canonical tag. Will that have any effect though? Will disavow eliminate the effect of a rel canonical tag on the disavowed domain or does it only affect links on the disavowed website? If it only affects links then should I attempt to disavow all the pages that link to rofof.com? Thanks for reading. I really appreciate any insight you folks can offer.

Home page showing some other website in cache

Would it work to place H1 (or important page keywords) at the top of your page in HTML and move lower on page with CSS?
I understand that the H1 tag is no longer heavily correlated with stronger ranking signals but it is more important that Keywords or keyphrases are at the top of a page. My question is, if I just put my important keyword (or H1) toward the top of my page in the HTML and move it towards the middle/lower portion with css position elements, will this still be viewed by Googlebot as important keywords toward the top of my page? 500 and 508 pages?
Hi we just did a massive deepcrawl (using the tool deepcrawl.co.uk/) on the site: http://tinyurl.com/nu6ww4z http://i.imgur.com/vGmCdHK.jpg Which reported a lot of URLs as either 508 and 500 errors. For the URLs as reported as either 508 or 500 after the deep crawl crawl finished we put them directly into screaming frog and they all came back with status code 200. Could it be because Deep Crawl hammered the site and the server couldn't handle the load or something? Cheers, Chris

Duplicate page title at bottom of page - ok, or bad?
Can I get you experts opinion? A few years ago, we customized our pages to repeat the page title at the bottom of the page. So the page title is in the breadcrumbs at the top, and then it's also at the bottom of the page under all the contents. Here is a sample page: bit.ly/1pYyrUl I attached a screen shot and highlighted the second occurence of the page title. Am worried that this might be keyword stuffing, or over optimizing?
