Has anyone used Hubspot? What was your experience?

Hi Paul,
I actually came here looking for the same info. I'm half way into my 30-day trial, and I have to admit I'm pretty impressed. I get prospect e-mails with the company name, location, pageviews, and referrer of the visitor. That would allow me to send marketing materials to that visitor knowing how they got to my site and what they were looking for. Really cool!
There are a lot of other great tools, like scheduling posts on social media sites (think Hootsuite), form builder (think Wufoo), a simple CRM (think Highrise), keyword analytics (geographically limited and not nearly as detailed as SEOmoz), other SEO tools for content and blogging, and the most awesome feature which is e-mail marketing automation (think Salesforce.com workflow for e-mail). This e-mail automation allows you to set up a flow to "nurture" leads into customers, so if a certain link is clicked or customer information is entered on a certain form or landing page, Hubspot knows and starts sending the e-mails you have created on the schedule you set up for that specific call-to-action. Point is to send pertinent information to leads base on their activity on your site. Now, for a niche business like American BBQ catering in Taiwan, this is really cool. It's probably not so useful for standard e-commerce sites or low-cost, high-volume businesses.
On the down side, and I mean really down side, is the native content management system. Sorry Hubspot, is just sucks. Just a little bit more love on that side and there wouldn't be too many services that could compete. And pricing is an issue for us. The version that would allow me to use the Hubspot API on an external site is over $8K a year, which even if my lead conversion increased 32% (the number they boast), then I'm paying over $200 for every new customer. Those numbers aren't very attractive to me, but they might be for you.
Great people there, great support, intuitive system, terrible CMS. But at the end of the day, the system could help you save time by merging lots of systems into one.
B+

Help regarding Backlinks DA
Hey I'm doing web optimization of my site Best Blender under $100 My inquiry is with respect to Backlinks. There are 2 things which can be seen in MOZ announcing 1. DA(Domain Authority) 2.Spam Score Presently how might I choose from which site would it be advisable for me to get Backlinks? From higher DA and Low Spam Score or Higher DA and High Spam Score? Does Spam Score will affect my Rankings or not? Also, my last inquiry is what number of Backlinks would it be advisable for me to make on everyday schedule? Respects,

Can I redirect it to my own site? and will all the Link Juice flow to my site?

Confused About Potential Spammy Inbound Link
I unsure how my page got backlinked on this "passive DNS" website: http://pdns.daloo.de/search.php?alike=0&q=66.96.162.137 This looks to be my only inbound link, so I am worried this is negatively affecting my site ranking. Is this 56% spam score link negatively affecting my website? If so, any suggestions? Any feedback or insight would be greatly appreciated as I am very ignorant to what this person's webpage is about and why my page was linked.. Sincerely, Hayden My website: https://cashflo.org/

Community Discussion: The hardest (& most surprisingly valuable) thing you've gone through for your SEO career?
In the comment discussion for Thursday's blog post, An Essential Training Task List for Junior SEOs, there's been mild debate around some of the items, such as having a Junior SEO build a website by hand. It's a fantastic comment discussion (the kind that makes a blog manager's heart sing), and it's got me thinking. We've all gone through the wringer when it comes to boosting our careers. Heck, I was a poetry major and found myself learning SQL last week. What hurdles have you jumped that have been painful and challenging, but have taken your career to the finish line? Maybe even gotten you the gold?* What would you recommend to newbies just starting out (or warn them about)? *Yeah, I got Olympic about it. I went there. 🙂

Re-directing blogs from an expired Hubspot account
We used hubspot for our blogging until 6 months ago, and had over 90 blogs on the hubspot subdomain "blog.site.co.uk". We've since reverted back to our own "site.co.uk/blog" but have noticed we no longer gain the traffic from the 90+ blog posts we put through hubspot. To get this content back onto our site thought i could simply relaunch it onto our own /blog site and use .htaccess to rewrite the old url to the new one. But hubspot keep the landing page "blog.site.co.uk" from re-directing to the new blog post. Questions: Has the original hubspot blog post gone from google index? Are there any other risks to re-posting this back to our site? Any advice on closing off the old blog post? Many thanks Matthew

Thoughts about using Hubspot for my clients...........
I operate an Internet marketing firm in the Midwest US called Saw Web Marketing. I have contractors that work for me that handle design, writing, development, etc when my clients need it. I love the industry but struggle (like everybody else) with all the normal things (managing time and keeping up with reporting, keeping up with the little daily fires, finding time to improve my site and blog and learn new things, networking, social media and on and on..... I have been considering using Hubspot software to simplify some of the things I spend time on, look more polished and professional would of course be a big bonus. I don't know HOW restrictive or powerful their tools are. (I certainly am NOT leaving Moz - Nobody compares to Moz!) ANY thoughts or opinions would be GREATLY appreciated!!! Matthew

Spanish equivalent of MOZ? need help with understanding Google.es
I try to keep up to date with everything SEO to ensure my sites rank well.. marblerenovation.com & Trailersafe.co.uk I now have a spanish site that I am having trouble ranking well for clima2000egara.es I have recently found out (by asking our lovely moz community) that googles algorithms are not rolled our world wide. SO I have no idea where I am at with Google.es. Does anyone know how I can find out at what stage google.es is at? and what the last update was? and whether there is an equilalent community like Moz for Spain? I am fluent spanish so the language won't be a problem.. Thanks in advance for all your help
