Google Analytics for multiple languages on multiple domains
-
Hi folks
A quick question in regards to setting up Google Analytics for a website with multiple languages on multiple domains.
The domains that needs to be tracked are:
- www.example.com -> English
- www.example.se -> Swedish
- www.example.dk -> Danish
To my best knowledge this can be acheived in Google Analytids using 3 different setups:
- Different accounts
- Different properties
- Profiles
What would you guys consider the best approach?
Pros and cons?Have a great day
Fredrik

Fo me, when you say, "GA for a website with multiple languages on multiple domains", then I inherently look at this as I am going to have one GA account for this website with three different properties. I do a lot by intuition, so that is just what comes naturally for me.
You account is Example Account or Example Analytics, but it is about the Analytics for this specific content group for lack of a better descriptor: Yes, different languages on different domains, but same site - correct?
The biggest pro for me is unless I am running three browsers open at once, I do not have to log in and out of analytics for each account to see whatever I want. (Seems simplistic, but I find it a pain). So, I can now navigate between the three domains easily, copy a filter from one to another easily, etc.
You could have a different profile for each domain, but I really do not see a massive reason for this and by having them all under one, again it seems intuitive and to communicate they are together which could loosely help with any dupe content issue down the road. (Yes, I understand how duped content is looked at across multi languages. I just like being able to have a track back of some type that shows the sites together.)
Hope this gives a bit of insight for you Frederik,
Best.

Strange landing page in Google Analytics
Hello MOZ Community, The website in question is https://x-y.com/ When i looked at the landing pages report in GA , x-y.com is appended at the end of every URL like this. https://x-y.com/x-y.com When i open the above URL in GA interface, it shows page not found. This is obvious as there is no such URL.

Google Analytics SEO Queries Not Showing
Hi All, This might be a silly question, but for all the properties I monitor in Google Analytics, I'm now showing no data for SEO Queries under Acquisition for the past 6 days. Normally I would expect a few day delay in queries, but nothing for 6 days is somewhat peculiar especially as it was functioning fine prior to November 12th. Does anyone have insight into what might be going on? Thanks! URaNMa3

Direct traffic spam on Google Analytics: how can you identify and filter it?
One of my smaller clients noticed a huge jump in direct traffic visits last month. The bounce rate was around 97% so I'm pretty certain that most of the traffic was illegitimate. I know how to filter out spam referrals and organic keywords in Google Analytics. However I'm not sure what to do about direct traffic spam. Are there recommendations for filtering this out? Can I identify spam IP addresses?

Will 301 redirects (Same Domain) show as referral traffic in Analytics?
For an eCommerce site we have 301'd legacy product pages to new product pages. Is all that traffic going to show up as referral traffic from our own domain in Google Analytics? If so, is there any way to preserve original source/medium info or will all the source/medium info be our own domain since there is a 301 redirect?

Google Analytics Showing Inflated Product Revenue
Hi- For the month of Feb on two of our sites we are seeing inflated product revenues. I have not seen this before and I am not having any luck searching for answers. Here is the issue: Product B sells for $159.95 For the month of Feb we sold 3 thus revenue should be ~$479.85 GA is showing Product B's revenue at $3,360.00 I read online that sometimes folks will bookmark the receipt page and that can cause this and we would need to put a catch in place for this but I am guessing this is not the case as it is happening on two sites. Please let me know if you have any questions.

How do I manually add transactions to Google Analytics
We are seeing Google Analytic's drop transaction on our site so therefore all the figures are skewed. Is there a way I can manually add transactions to GA to cover the missing one?

AW Stats vs Google Analytics
Hey Moz Community, I am looking to get opinions on the best practice for analytics/traffic analysis. From experience I know that AW Stats reads high and Google Analytics reads low for traffic for reason in this article http://www.smartz.com/blog/2009/01/23/analytic-confusion-%E2%80%93-awstats-vs-google-analytics/ It drives me a little nuts how far off both are for some pages. I have one article that shows 100 views (GA) and AW stats shows 5 times that number of views. Any suggestions or systems you recommend? Thanks

Google Analytics: Difference Between Goal Conversions & Goal Completions
When using Google Analytics, what is the difference between total goal conversions and total goal completions? We have many goals set up in a lead generation environment. Therefore, the only element of conversion is submitted a lead and arriving on the "Thank You" page. THose thank you pages are tagged accordingly. When we run reports though, the number of "Total Goal Conversions" and "Total Goal Completions" never match up.
