Website title next to a post title-how to remove it?

I just have checked on some of the keyword I am ranking for and found in the serp that next to the post I have also the site name. But I thought that I have remove it.
Does somebody know how to remove it? perhaps I did not do it correctly. I am also using yoast seo plugin but I do not have it set there to show the site name after posts name.
Can somebody help me to fix this please?
I have also attached an image from the serp where is behind the post title also Villas Diani-the site name

You can also try the 'Force rewrite titles' option in the Yoast settings. Sometimes this can help to remove unwanted site names from the title.

Hi Iris,
You can check the page source of the page you are looking at (right click and view source) and if the title tag near the top has the name of the site at the end then yes obviously it is being put in there by some setting and you can follow what Free Range has said below. I looked at a couple of your pages and did not see this, so it looks at first glance that your setup is ok and that the site name is being put in by google.

No Don't remove it. Don't worry about general settings, just add a new title in SEO Title every time

Oh I see, so I input the title into each post. Thank you so much!
And then in general settings for post types in title templates for post and pages I have this %%title%% should I remove it? I am afraid if I write a title into each post and will still keep this in templates it will create 2 titles perhaps?

Thank you very much Lynn, I have read the article just now. Well if it so that google rewrite it I have no problem with it. But is there a way I can check if I do not have some setting somewhere on site which does this?

In post titles in the plugin I have set to show only the post name.

Just change the SEO title in the Yoast plugin. This will get rid of the site name at the end.
I just cut and paste the title into the SEO Title to overwrite it

It i probably google deciding to rewrite the titles for you, Yoast himself makes a mention of it here: http://yoast.com/google-page-title/ In short, not much you can do about it.

I'm doing a crawl analysis for a website and finding all these duplicate URLs with "null" being added to them and have no clue what could be causing this.
Does anyone know what could be causing this? Our dev team thinks it's caused by mobile pages they created a while ago but it is adding 1000's of additional URLs to the crawl report and being indexed by Google. Questions in regard to putting 2-3 keywords in a title tag.
Hi all, Here is the situation. There are two services A and B in the page. B is more like a complement to A (they have something in common). C is the umbrella term over A and B. However, our company focuses more on A (70%) than B (30%). Questions: 1. Can I rank the keyword A for the page, while the page has B? (e.g. A | brand name) Will it hurt the seo, with B being in the page? 2. If I write the title tag this way: A | B | brand name . Will A and B dilute each other? 3. How about this: **A | C | brand name **(the idea behind this: We focus on A, but also include C because we have B in the page.) Does this make any sense? I am a newbie to SEO and I realize that could be confusing. Thank you for any support and explanation.

Best techniques for trying to rank a single page website?
I am new to SEO and am currently trying to market a single page website. Its proving to be hard. I have managed to get the site to page one for a few keywords and it is improving (upto page 2 for some desired keywords) but it seems to have stuck there for a few weeks now - with no movement. I am able to develop it if required. However I thought that I would just ask if there was anything that could give it a nudge without this? I have done on-site optimisation. As far as I'm aware that's about as good as it can be. So any advice?

Spaces at beginning of title tag - negatively affect the optimization of the page?
For some reason, our title tags have a long space after the beginning title tag and before the text appears. The beginning title tag is on one line, then a break, a tab and then the content of the title tag. I'm pretty sure this is not good and is affecting optimization of the page. Am I correct or is this not an issue and does not need to be fixed? Free related posts recommendation solution?
I was preparing to use Diqus plugin to show related posts, but our site has already used another comment solution which is developed ourselves, and I don't think it's a good idea to replace all the comments of the entire site. So is there another free service to show visitors related posts? We are not a WP site, so I can only accepts HTML&JS codes, not WP plugins, etc. And I also don't want it contain external links even if I can benefit from them, because we are in a pretty specific niche, the recommendations to posts on other sites may take our orders away. Bing free mobile website
