Reverse IP Lookup

I have a client that has over 90,000 incoming links from a single IP address. I can't figure out who's linking to them.
I've used several different reverse IP lookup tools and can tell that the server is in Europe and ISP is AT&T Global Network Services Nederland B.V.. (http://www.ip-adress.com/reverse_ip/194.196.0.36) Says there's 0 hosts on that IP.
Any suggestions?

According to Matt Cutts here, you will not do anything wrong with disavowing the links.

The duplicate bookmarks article is interesting and a possible root cause. I can't see what host or pages are linking to my client's site at all. I just know there are 90,160 inbound links from a single source (at 1194.196.0.36) to the home page. But the second discussion you posted seems like it might be a feasible explanation as well. Just no way to know for sure...
I'm wondering if I should ignore or disavow these links. I don't see any drastic change in visitor behavior recently, but given the client is fairly new, I have no idea how long these links have been around. What do people think? Should I ignore or disavow?

I know this is really a longshot, but i found this: http://www.zdnet.com/blog/apple/icloud-bug-creates-thousands-of-duplicate-bookmarks/12084. Given that the IP is supposed to be registered to Apple, and that it does not appear to have a host. Could it perhaps be that this is an iCloud server that has a ton of links/bookmarks to your site? I know it's a stretch but still...
If you click on the entry in GWT, are you able to see what subpages are linking your way? And are the links to your site direct links, or do they show as "via intermediate links"? If so, then it could be that someone has scraped your site. Or could it be that your client (or you clients hosting provider) has some sort of backup server or test/staging environment that resides on this IP and that for some reason was available to GoogleBot? See http://webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/54100/gwmt-show-non-existent-backlinks-via-intermediate-link.
This is just me guessing, to please don't take this as definitive answers/solutions...

Thanks for helping. I notice that too, yet can't seem to find any evidence of Apple linking to my client.
I also used the link DTOX tool to see if they had a record of 90k incoming links from a single source. No luck.
I emailed at&t global network to see if they could help, and they want to see server logs of abusive links. I don't have that. All I have is an entry in Google webmaster tools saying we have 90,000 incoming links from 194.196.0.36.
I'm feeling stuck if you have any other suggestions. You or anyone else viewing this post....

According to one of the websites I used, I found that the IP range is owned by At&t Global Network Services Nederland B.v as you said.
Using http://www.iplocationtools.com/194.196.0.36.html I found that this IP is reproted to belong to apple.com. Same goes when going to http://ipaddress.is/194.196.0.36#.U85nh7HzlyI
Does that make any sense?

Should I reverse renaming of a page that lost value?
I have a site with a handful of links that are ranked. One of those links was ranking for "pantsuits for sale". The slug was mysite.com/pantsuits. I decided to rename the slug to mysite.com/pantsuits-for-sale and used the term "pantsuits for sale" twice in the page which it had not been appearing before. I did a 301 redirect old page to new. I then organized 5 pages below Pantsuits-for-sale in a silo. Before they were all at the same level. I ran 301s for those also. I suddenly lost 40 spaces in rank a few days later! Clearly Google did not like these changes. So do you think I can regain my position by reversing the silo and changing back to the old slugs? Other thoughts/ recommendations?

Reverse proxy a successful blog from subdomain to subfolder?
I have an ecommerce site that we'll call confusedseo.com. I created a WordPress blog and CNAME'd it to blog.confusedseo.com. Since then, the blog has earned a PageRank of 3 and a decent amount of organic traffic. I am considering a reverse proxy to forward blog.confusedseo.com to confusedseo.com/blog/. As I understand it, this will greatly help the "link juice" of the root domain. However, I'm concerned about any potential harm done to the existing SEO value of the blog. What, if anything, should I be doing to ensure that the reverse proxy doesn't hurt my "juice" rather than help it?

Duplicate Content - Reverse Phone Directory
Hi, Until a few months ago, my client's site had about 600 pages. He decided to implement what is essentially a reverse phone directory/lookup tool. There are now about 10,000 reverse directory/lookup pages (.html), all with short and duplicate content except for the phone number and the caller name. Needless to say, I'm getting thousands of duplicate content errors. Are there tricks of the trade to deal with this? In nosing around, I've discovered that the pages are showing up in Google search results (when searching for a specific phone number), usually in the first or second position. Ideally, each page would have unique content, but that's next to impossible with 10,000 pages. One potential solution I've come up with is incorporating user-generated content into each page (maybe via Disqus?), which over time would make each page unique. I've also thought about suggesting that he move those pages onto a different domain. I'd appreciate any advice/suggestions, as well as any insights into the long-term repercussions of having so many dupes on the ranking of the 600 solidly unique pages on the site. Multiple Domains on 1 IP Address
We have multiple domains on the same C Block IP Address. Our main site is an eCommerce site, and we have separate domains for each of the following: our company blog (and other niche blogs), forum site, articles site and corporate site. They are all on the same server and hosted by the same web-hosting company. They all have unique and different content. Speaking strictly from a technical standpoint, could this be hurting us? Can you please make a recommendation for the best practices when it comes to multiple domains like these and having separate or the same IP Addresses? Thank you!

Does IP Changes Affect SEO Metrics?
Okay, So yesterday I asked a question about setting up custom error pages in IIS 6.0 to properly do a 24 hour 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable. With no answer, (not to the despair of the community as the question has NO simple or easy answer 🙂 So after a night of dreaming about solutions 🙂 I realized that we have the ability to just clone the site.... So basically it would just become a redundant server or mirror site for 24 hours. With all that being said the question is..... What SEO pitfalls might I encounter from this if any I suspect none as load balancing and redundancy is a fact of life in the WEB world, especially since it will be a MAX of 24 hours downtime for maint.

Why google index my IP URL
hi guys, a question please. if site:112.65.247.14 , you can see google index our website IP address, this could duplicate with our darwinmarketing.com content pages. i am not quite sure why google index my IP pages while index domain pages, i understand this could because of backlink, internal link and etc, but i don't see obvious issues there, also i have submit request to google team to remove ip address index, but seems no luck. Please do you have any other suggestion on this? i was trying to do change of address setting in Google Webmaster Tools, but didn't allow as it said "Restricted to root level domains only", any ideas?
