There are many ranking factors for YouTube videos. You should always optimize your video's metadata with proper titles, tags etc. and try to make longer videos and number of shares of videos is also a ranking factor now.

In addition to Sally Mills reply I would like to let you know the most important youtube ranking factor is watch time. If your video have more watch time will rank higher rest follow what Sally Mills replied.

Hi Sakshamk,

Youtube videos rank based on keywords in the Title & description, along with tags. My best advice is to provide plenty of detail about the video in the description and even include a transcript. Then assign plenty of relevant tags.
