Personally I am not massively familiar with Alibaba, however, if it is anything like Google in the organic SERPS, then just because you have your star rating in place does not mean it will be displayed. Keep the ratings scheme on the chance things change and it gets displayed in the future.

Does traditional linkbuilding work to rank an app in the app store?

Hi all! Im diving into the App Store Optimization (ASO).
So, one of my coleagues told me that traditional linkbuilding works in order to get better ranks in the app store, I am specifically saying about the Google Play Store. (not apple store). Rich snippets for multiple breadcrumbs

Hey there,
I have been playing around with rich snippets for multiple breadcrumbs for quite a bit now - without any success. It would be great if someone could point me to an example where this has been implemented correctly. I followed the Google recommendation but it doesn't seem to work for me. Would this hack work? - human-readability-optimized headline -> keyword-optmized headline

Hi Moz-ians, I need your insight. I am thinking of the following hack: 1. Writing the headline of a blogpost as human-readable & catchy as possible and publish on content voting communities like Hacker News. (basically serving human readers the best) 2. After the influx of large traffic, change the title based on the target keywords of the blogpost. (basically serving Google Search Engine the best) I would like to know whether making such a change after publishing a post would nullify any positive impact I will earn by publishing the post in terms of the search ranking of the page? (=whether it would be a sound strategy.) I am worried a sudden change in the headline (e.g., or element) would damage the increase in page authority I've gotten through the incoming traffic from, say, Hacker News, which makes this hack not worthwhile to explore.

Will google put logo's in as author snippets?

Are they smart enough to tell it is not a mug shot and then not show it? Has anyone ever seen a logo as a snippet? What are some of the factors to with whether they show them or not?

Rich Snippets

Hi guys, Working with a client that we did not design, build or code their website. And further more they are happy with their website, and to be fair, its all fine. We are there to try help them improve their poor overall ranking positions website contains an e-commerce solution and as part of the project we are implementing Rich Snippets. Anytime we have used Rich Snippets, we have always followed Google's guidelines and well structured each product page to adhere to how Google advise. (we have also designed and coded the clients website in these cases, or indeed restructured certain pages). Problem with this website is the product layout is all over the place. So my question for people who have used Rich Snippets, have you ever deviated from the layout as advised by Google For example, with this clients current structure ,we would need to open the product snippet like example below, mark up what we want to use, but between the opening and closing tags, we have content that is not being used for Rich Snippets Their Product£39Client has a section here containing information we will not use for rich snippets<.div>Anther section containing more irrelevant stuffProduct DescriptionProduct ID: SKUCode <--- Close Schema product ----> I have tested the above structure out with Google's tool, and well its finding all the rich content fine, I am just worried that the two divs in-between the opening and closing tag for the Product Div may cause problems. Has anyone deviated from the exact flow as outlined by Google and still got their snippets displayed fine Thanks in advance John

How can I make google display rich snippets when searching for my domain?

My domain is www.phraseexpander.com If I search for phraseexpander in google, I'm in the first position (as it should be) but google is not giving extra space to my result as it happens, for example, if you search for "fogbugz". Is there any way I can hep google index my contents (I currently have a site index that is created by Yoast SEO). Thanks a lot. Andrea

Implementation of Rich Text Snippets on a e-commerce site

Hey Guys I'm working on the implementation of Rich Text Snippets , I have basically 3 types of page Product Page Category Page Homepage On the product page I'm going to implement the product scheme which seem relatively straight forward , I'm struggling a bit understand what can be implement on the homepage & category page if anything For the Homepage I was planning to use the organisation scheme http://schema.org/Organization using the object thing my question is can you use the image tag to try and get google to display our brand logo ? just like the author & recipe etc.. we sell branded goods so on each ideally for branded page we provide brand description and brand logo http://brokenscene.com/uk/brands/famous-stars-and-straps.html can you use any snippets or is it best to focus on just the products ?
