Personally I am not massively familiar with Alibaba, however, if it is anything like Google in the organic SERPS, then just because you have your star rating in place does not mean it will be displayed. Keep the ratings scheme on the chance things change and it gets displayed in the future.

Rich snippets for multiple breadcrumbs

Hey there,
I have been playing around with rich snippets for multiple breadcrumbs for quite a bit now - without any success. It would be great if someone could point me to an example where this has been implemented correctly. I followed the Google recommendation but it doesn't seem to work for me. Google is showing product rating of 1-star in search results when average rating is 3.7 - 4 stars

When searching for the brand name "SteriPEN", the #3 listing on the SERP is for one of SteriPEN's "Adventurer Opti" product at REI.com, On the SERP for this search, the REI listing for Adventurer Opti product displays showing the product as 1-star based on a product review from 2010. What we don't understand is the fact that the product history has a 3.7 to 4.2 rating on most websites. Why would a product with so many reviews and established history have 1 review that drives the 1-star rating from such a prominent retailer? Makes no sense. Any suggestions as to whom we might be able to contact for help with this is greatly appreciated. edit?usp=sharing

Would this hack work? - human-readability-optimized headline -> keyword-optmized headline

Hi Moz-ians, I need your insight. I am thinking of the following hack: 1. Writing the headline of a blogpost as human-readable & catchy as possible and publish on content voting communities like Hacker News. (basically serving human readers the best) 2. After the influx of large traffic, change the title based on the target keywords of the blogpost. (basically serving Google Search Engine the best) I would like to know whether making such a change after publishing a post would nullify any positive impact I will earn by publishing the post in terms of the search ranking of the page? (=whether it would be a sound strategy.) I am worried a sudden change in the headline (e.g., or element) would damage the increase in page authority I've gotten through the incoming traffic from, say, Hacker News, which makes this hack not worthwhile to explore.

Author snippet image in results, question!

Hi, Quick question really, I can see how a Google+ profile picture showing up in the results can increase CTR and even trust but would this be a no no for a normal website? I mean if you had a website which offered personal training, so a brand rather than an individual would you not use this snippet? I've seen some website, even ecommerce sites using this tag to just increase their CTR.

Rich Snippets - What am I doing wrong

Hi all, This is my first post and I really hope someone in here can point me in the right direction. Background:
I added Rich Snippets code to the footer of my site, tested it on http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets which all looks good. I was attempting to link reviews for our brand rather than specific products as these product reviews aren't available. Result:
Every page on my site contained the same rich snippets code and within a couple of days all the site pages were indexed including review stars. After another couple of weeks the review stars were removed from every page on the next crawl/index. Next Steps:
I removed Rich Snippets code from every page except my home page. The rich review stars appeared in the search results for a couple of days but in the past two weeks they have since disappeared again. What next?
I appreciate that I went about the implementation incorrectly but at this time only the home page contains valid mark up but no review stars in search. Has anyone got experience or advice to help me out in this situation? Many thanks.

Nofollow in . Wrong, but does it work

I have a client using the following construct throuout the site: linktext

linktext3 This is obviously wrong, but does it work? Does Google / bing recognize all links in the paragraph as nofollow? Any ideas / opinions?
