Star snippet not work
-
Personally I am not massively familiar with Alibaba, however, if it is anything like Google in the organic SERPS, then just because you have your star rating in place does not mean it will be displayed. Keep the ratings scheme on the chance things change and it gets displayed in the future.

I thought at first it was going to be as simple as adding a few keywords here or there. But apparently not. I see where I messed up in the errors, warnings, and notices. How do I go about fixing them?

Does hreflang work on TLDs?
What is your opinion regarding hreflang? We have a .company.com site and franchised other English sites, like company. co.uk, company.com.au etc - and we share one database. Our other English sites don't want to have to change on-page content by the rough 30% for Google and wanted to know if including the hreflang would mean they would not have to change any content anymore - only the metatags? I don't think that's possible on TLDs, and we can't have our .com content being duplicated.

Author snippet image in results, question!
Hi, Quick question really, I can see how a Google+ profile picture showing up in the results can increase CTR and even trust but would this be a no no for a normal website? I mean if you had a website which offered personal training, so a brand rather than an individual would you not use this snippet? I've seen some website, even ecommerce sites using this tag to just increase their CTR.

Should I put on a black hat and abuse Rich Snippet ?
What do people think about abusing rich snippets? I have a competitor who has started using the author tag on product pages. I guess this will be giving them an unfair advantage in the SERP. I had considered doing the same but was a bit worried about getting banned in the future. Should we go down the same path and is it likely that Google will eventually hit us with a ban?

Hey Guys I'm working on the implementation of Rich Text Snippets , I have basically 3 types of page Product Page Category Page Homepage On the product page I'm going to implement the product scheme which seem relatively straight forward , I'm struggling a bit understand what can be implement on the homepage & category page if anything For the Homepage I was planning to use the organisation scheme http://schema.org/Organization using the object thing my question is can you use the image tag to try and get google to display our brand logo ? just like the author & recipe etc.. we sell branded goods so on each ideally for branded page we provide brand description and brand logo http://brokenscene.com/uk/brands/famous-stars-and-straps.html can you use any snippets or is it best to focus on just the products ? How to implement Rich snippets on dynamic pages?
I'm working on an e-commerce website, and I want to recommend to the client rich snippets, however only the main menu pages are the ones that have an actual static landing page, the rest are dynamic content pulled from a database. How can I implement rich snippets in this situation? or is it only applicable to static pages? Also when I optimized the title tags and meta description tags, the dynamic content is pulling these tags from the main categories, so Seomoz indicates there is a bunch of duplicate meta description tags and title tags. Any tips for this?
