Hi Alex,
Actually, the website age is not that big of a ranking factor anymore. You can rank in the top positions with a website a few months old.
Also, with just guest-posting is not enough to rank high.I'd suggest you take a deep and comprehensive read to the Moz's beginners guide to SEO. I think that there are quite a few things to optimize that you are missing.
For example, title tags. You should make them more descriptive and focused on the main keyword/phrase you are willing to rank.Hope it helps,

Low Ranking Mystery
Hello fellow MOZzers..! I am fairly new to this community but have been working on my SEO skills for a while.. I have created over 20 websites for myself and various clients, and all of them are doing fairly well ranking n.1 for their targeted keywords... except 1 WEBSITE THAT IS BECOMING A ROYAL PAIN IN THE BUTT! The website is www.dancepartycentral.co.uk and this is why it's a mystery to me: The on-site SEO seems to be on point (getting an A on page-grader for desired keywords) "Dance Party" does not seem to be too much of a competitive keyword Many of the other competitors do not seem to have very professional websites (apart from 3 or 4) or that have as much targeted content for the relevant keywords I have over relevant 20 sites and industry directories for Entertainers that are linking to the site (even though not all of them are appearing on page crawls) Please keep in mind this site has been created using webs.com so I have little control over the coding I seem to only be getting a 6.5% TXT/HTML ratio even though the site is made up mostly of original content This business highly relies on organic SEO searches and as my site is not ranking in the top 50, it's become a bit of a head-scratcher for me.. if anyone is kind enough to help me shed some light on the problem and how I can resolve this, I would be eternally grateful! Duplicate contents with competitors websites
Hello, I have use the http://copyscape.com to check the duplicate content and found that my website have some errors duplicate contents with other competitors website. But a problem is, I could not define the reason of this (my website copied the competitors website or they copied of mine) To solve this issues, should I modify a unique my contents (this is difficult) or anyone have a good solution for this problem? Can a one page website rank well with the right SEO? I am building a new site so it is best to put the content related to two or three related items on one page or create seperate pages? Surely by creating just one page I can put all my link building efforts into improving the authority of that page as opposed to spreading my time over 3?

Massive drop off in my google rank. Why?

How to Get Links as A Web Host
As a web hosting provider how would you get links other than people writing reviews about you? How would I find people with actual websites/blogs to ask to write reviews about us? Current customers will usually write reviews on webhostingtalk.com a popular forum for web hosting. We already have plenty of links from forums in the industry. Giving out prizes will only result in more links from webhostingtalk.com presumably, what do you think?

Ranking discrepancies
The head office of our organisation has just set up a new website and I see that it is ranking third below two of our retail stores. I performed a link analysis s and see we out rank our stores in terms of Links etc. Can someone explain to me why we are below these stores. Also our website was only launched a week a go. Could this have an effect?

What is my site missing for improved ranking - Pls Help
Hi I would really appreciate any advice or guidance on what my site needs to move onto the 1st page as I am at a loss on what else is required? On a search for chartered accountants swansea according to the SEOMOZ campaign ranking report the site www.harrisbassett.co.uk is down in 27 position for this keyphrase in Google. However when looking over the ranking analysis my site has a stronger authority, more root domains, more domain authority and linking root domains than 4 out of the top 5 listings. Also the onpage analysis of some of the top 10 results is very poor, with no blogs, social features etc I have been building links based from competitor analysis which should be more than what is shown in the ranking report, but is my site missing any kep ingredients that would propel it up onto the 1st page - as the keyword difficulty is only 25% so I am struggling to work out what key elements/improvements are required for this final push.
