How much time does it takes for a backlink to get registered in Google? My basketball anime website has been live since start of this week and Google has not registered any backlink.

A few Factors play into that.
First of all is the backlinked page indexed?
for example this solar client
has links comming from
Solar Pool Heat link 1
Solar Heat Pool Link 2
Pool Heating Link 3They are 84 Domin authority links, but if they are not indexed they arn't really worth a hoot.
By linking to them from a high athourity site like this they are much more likely to be indexed.

What Jeroen said, it could sometimes take weeks before Google will find your links on the web. Especially when the links you've received are not from high authority sites or pages that are often crawled by them. In the end, Google can come by multiple times a day on your pages but as long as they don't crawl the pages your links are on they basically don't 'count'.

For a link to be indexed, it needs to be found first. Moz and Google are not the same. And they dont really share their data, as google is sometimes less consistent in the found links compared to Moz or a hrefs. New websites take some time, perhaps up to 4 weeks before you anything at all. Have patience.

Payday loan backlinks
Dear Friends, I just checked my backlinks in Ahrefs because my traffic has been dropping since the last 4 weeks. I have 2 questions is google penguin a part of Google core algorithm yet like Google panda is? I have backlinks of Payday loans which many webmasters claimed were the problem. The anchor text was payday loans. The sites hardly have any pagerank or anything. What is the way forward for me? Backlink lag time or not indexed?
I've looked through a few questions relating to backlinks not showing up in Open Site Explorer and I've got the same problem. I want to understand whether my backlinks aren't showing in SEOmoz due to a lag time (some say 5 - 8weeks) or because google hasn't indexed them.

Backlinks outside my country
Hi there! If the product, service or resouce I offer is located in my country: Is it worth to include directories located in p.e EEUU in order to increase my Pagerank although this is not my potencial client (due to the "distance" obviouly).? If my potencial clients were people fromo other countries that could come to mine to enjoy this service? Massive drop off in my google rank. Why?

Why are none of my incoming links showing up in SEOmoz or Google? How do I get good legit incoming links?
There are hundreds of sites that are linking to my website, but nobody is showing it. Google wont display any when using link:eugenecomputergeeks.com, and in webmaster tools it only shows 46 incoming links. SEOmoz shows only 3 links. This just isn't so. Why is this? I DESPERATELY need valid incoming links from well ranked websites , and having lots of trouble getting them. Nobody in town with a well ranked site seems to want to do a link exchange, and I've already made the mistake of buying my way into directories, which didn't do anything good for my rankings. Thanks!
