I have a client for just over a year now. I've been using Moz all that time.
Do you know if it will give me data from the very start? Or will it just give me the previous 12 months?

Thanks for reading, I appreciate your expertise

Moz's data history can vary depending on the specific tool or service you're using. For example, Moz's Domain Authority and Page Authority scores have been around since 2006, so their data history for these scores goes back more than a decade. However, their Keyword Explorer tool only offers search volume data from January 2016 and difficulty data from May 2017.

When it comes to analyzing backlinks to the site "tattoo scale," Moz's Link Explorer tool can provide you with data going back over 10 years. However, it's worth noting that Moz's data coverage may not be comprehensive for all websites or keywords, as they rely on crawling the web and processing data from various sources. Additionally, their data may not always be up to date, and there can be a delay between when a change occurs on the web and when it's reflected in Moz's data.

Moz provides historical data for up to 5 years for most of its metrics. This means that you can view data for a particular website or webpage going back up to 5 years. However, the amount of data available may vary depending on the metric and the specific tool you are using within Moz.

For example, Moz's Link Explorer tool provides data on a website's backlink profile going back up to 5 years, while the Moz Pro Campaigns tool allows you to view historical data on search engine rankings and traffic for up to 3 months.

It's worth noting that historical data can be useful for tracking changes in website performance over time and identifying trends. However, it's important to keep in mind that past performance does not necessarily guarantee future results, and other factors such as algorithm updates or changes in competition can impact website performance.

Moz should be able to provide you with historical data for your client's website, even if you've only been using Moz for the past year.

Moz collects data on websites over time, so even if you haven't been using Moz for the entire duration of your client's website, it's possible that Moz has historical data on their website from before you started using it.

To access historical data for your client's website in Moz, you can use the "Campaigns" feature to create a new campaign for your client's website and choose the option to track historical data. This will allow you to see data from before you started using Moz for your client's website.

Alternatively, you can contact Moz support for more information on accessing historical data for your client's website.

Moz provides historical data for up to 5 years on their Moz Pro plans. So if you have been using Moz for just over a year, you should be able to access data from the start of your client's website or account.

To access the historical data, you can use the "Campaigns" feature in Moz which allows you to track and monitor your client's website over time. From there, you can view historical data such as keyword rankings, site traffic, and backlinks.

If you have any issues accessing the historical data or need further assistance, you can contact Moz's customer support team for help.

I hope this answers your question!

It depends on the type of Moz account you have been using for your client.

If you have been using Moz Pro, it will provide you with historical data for the entire duration of your client's website being tracked, as long as you have not exceeded your data limits. This means that you should be able to view data from the start of your client's website tracking until the present day.

However, if you have been using Moz Local, it only provides data for the current and previous months, so you would not be able to view data from the beginning of your client's website tracking.

It's also worth noting that Moz's data limits depend on the subscription plan you have chosen. If you have exceeded your data limits, Moz may start removing older data to make room for newer data.

I hope this helps clarify things for you.
