Unsolved Google is ranking me #1 singular but not plural
-
Hi all,
I am facing an ranking issue, I am trying to rank on a query:
"Recruitment Agencies In Pakistan for Saudi Arabia"Google is ranking me correctly #1 in singular version on the query, but not in plural version. Even my competitors in SERP's are same and ranking correctly on both teams.
And yes, the real/in-search keyword is ""Recruitment Agencies In Pakistan for Saudi Arabia" and not the "Recruitment Agency In Pakistan for Saudi Arabia"
I have gone through my on-page and off page but sill can't find the solution.
Here is the image of current SERP's:
"Recruitment Agencies In Pakistan for Saudi Arabia"
"Recruitment Agency In Pakistan for Saudi Arabia"
Can anyone please guide me on this, like what should i do?

Hi,
Your concern about the discrepancy between singular and plural rankings is valid and common in SEO. The difference often arises due to variations in user intent: plural searches are commonly associated with looking for lists or comparisons, while singular often implies the need for a specific solution.
As a practical next step, I'd recommend examining the top 3 search results for the plural form of the keyword. Check not only the headings and content but also if these pages are ranking with the same URLs for both the singular and plural queries. This can offer valuable insights into how Google interprets user intent for these terms.
Based on what you find, consider making coherent updates to your own content. If the same URLs rank for both versions, then aligning your content more closely with these top results might improve your ranking for the plural term as well.
I hope this provides a more actionable path forward for you.

@xShams Hello,
It's frustrating to encounter ranking discrepancies like this. Since you're ranking correctly for the singular version but not the plural one, it could be related to user intent and content optimization. Ensure that your content addresses the specific queries for both singular and plural versions effectively. Also, consider user engagement metrics and backlink profiles, as they can impact rankings. Lastly, monitor changes in Google's algorithms and keep refining your SEO strategy. Patience and persistence are key in resolving this issue. Good luck!

@xShams create some brand profiles for your website (post or page) Whatever it is your wanting to show up, if it's in general across your site, then you might want to double check your site title. You may want to make sure you have it as plural.
But if it is, then you just want your site overall to start ranking better for plural then push branded profile links to your homepage, if it's post then push it there etc.
Just make sure the URLs (profile names) are your keyword that is plural.
You don't have to worry about the anchor text so much as long as the URL socialprofile.com/user/yourkeyword13 <- that's where the power is here, using a general branding anchor or url is best.
Make it a realistic profile, provide some decent content that surrounds your niche and the profile will last longer and get picked up and indexed quicker.
Hope this help,

@JapaneseGreenTea
Can you give me some hints, like it's been some time and the plural words in not crawling/ranking, so what to do? -
Yep I've had this happen, sometimes it's a waiting game, sometimes you need to push harder on the plural.
Try a round of branding using the plural keyword in your profile URLs.

specific keyword, Google has assigned me the top rank in its search results for the singular form, yet it's not conferring the same ranking for the plural variation.

Query on Ranking Expectations and Search Intent Alignment
I've recently implemented the page optimization recommendations provided by Moz Pro to help our site rank for specific keywords on certain pages. It’s been about a week since we made these changes, and we’re happy to report that our optimization scores for the targeted keywords and URLs are looking strong. I did create these pages with our intended keywords in mind. However, two questions about the page optimization tool: Ranking Expectations: Since our optimization scores are good, when might we start seeing improvements in our keyword rankings? We know that SEO results can take time, but we would appreciate any insights on a typical timeline based on your experiences. Optimization and Search Intent: While the tool’s optimization suggestions have been helpful, we’re curious about how they factor in search intent. How does Moz Pro’s advice take into account variations in search intent, especially if users search using slight variations of the keywords we’re targeting?

Then i saw all my posts and pages go our of serps with not a single page in seps. I looked at the plugin and saw that it was still working fine but my subscription ran out two months previous. none of my brand news articles appear in serps. All my posts are indexed but not one of them in serps and not one of my keywords are ranked. Can anyone please let me know what to do to solve this

Google doesn't show my Twitter account
Hello, my full name is Timo Rossa and my Twitter (X) account is @TimoRossa. If I search for my name with "Timo Rossa" on Google, it doesn't find any results referencing my Twitter account. It is very important for me that Google does not only show Twitter results for my name but also that those results would be ranked at the top. The only reason I could come up with is that my account name has not separated words. Does this make sense? What would be a simple strategy to achieve my goal? Thank you!

How Can I influence the Google Selected Canonical
Our company recently rebranded and launched a new website. The website was developed by an overseas team and they created the test site on their subdomain. The only problem is that Google crawled and indexed their site and ours. I noticed Google indexed their sub domain ahead of our domain and based on Search Console it has deemed our content as the duplicate of theirs and the Google selected theirs as the canonical.

The website in question is https://www.spaziointerni.us
What would be the best course of action to get our content ranked and selected instead of being marked as the duplicate?
Not sure if I have to modify the content to make it more unique or have them submit a removal in their search console.
Our indexed pages continue to go down due to this issue.
Any help is greatly appreciated.1 -
