Error on Incoming Links report
-
On a client site https://compassionateleaders.co.uk/ Incoming links is reporting a domain link from Huffingtonpost.co.uk amongst 30 others.
However when I review Inbound Links it is showing Zero results.
How is this possible? Is there an issue in the system?
-
@Marketing_Optimist The discrepancy between reported incoming links and zero results in inbound links can be due to:
Data Indexing Delay: There might be a delay in updating.
Link Removal or No-follow: The link might have been removed or marked as no-follow.
Data Synchronization Issues: Parts of the tool may not be fully synchronized.
Filtering and Display Settings: Filters might be hiding the links.
Canonical Issues: The link might point to a different version of the URL.
Tool-Specific Limitations: The tool might have its own criteria or bugs. -

How is this possible? Is there an issue in the system?Discrepancies between reported incoming links and actual inbound links could occur due to various reasons. It's possible that the data reported in the Incoming Links section hasn't been updated recently. Different tools and systems have varying refresh rates for data updates. Some links reported in the Incoming Links section might be from low-quality or spammy websites, which might not be considered valid inbound links by the system. Additionally, the tool might not have crawled or indexed all the inbound links yet, as it can take time for search engines and link analysis tools to discover and index new links pointing to a website. There could also be discrepancies or inaccuracies in the data reported by the tool, as automated systems sometimes misinterpret or incorrectly attribute incoming links. If you suspect there's an issue with the system or the data being reported, it's a good idea to reach out to the support team of the tool or service provider for further investigation.
