Is it possible to bulk Check CMS

Hi Mozzers,
Any of you know a way to bulk check which CMS a list of sites run on?
Let's say I'd like to develop a plugin for a CMS (e.g. Wordpress or vBulletin). But that'd only make sense if some of the sites in the niche use this platform.
And I'd like to avoid checking them manually with WASP.

I couldn't find anything for bulk checking sites.
However, there's this add-on for Firefox, which checks sites for you: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/wappalyzer/
And someone built this web app: http://onlinewebtool.com/cmsdetector.php
You do have to do it one at a time.

Why there is no tool that check the page content ?
When using the SEO tool: http://www.seomoz.org/keyword-difficulty/google.com We can see the top 10 competition on a lot of parameters but i think you are missing the research on PAGE TEXT CONTENT. What do you say ?
