Hi All We have over 10000 Products and a while ago we spent some time adding Product Descriptions to the Product Pages, For Example we have Product - Black Snazaroo Face Paint Product Description - Great for Childrens parties, fundraising events, Halloween or other festive faces. An easy makeup to apply and remove. All Snazaroo face paints are Non toxic, Fragrance free and Skin friendly. Snazaroo is suitable for all skin types, however it is always recommended you do a skin patch test on a small area before full application. Unfortuantly our Meta Descriptions really need some work, for example this same page contains the following meta descriptions We realise this could be holding our site back. Is it ok to use the same Product Description inside the Meta Description Tags also, for example can we use the Meta Description for this Page - Thanks

Hi Moz Friends I wonder if you can help me , a while ago we had a Penguin Penalty and lost our Rankings. After Months of work Disavow and Reconsiderations , Google sent me a message in Webmaster Tools to confirm the Penalty had been uplifted. Since then we havent recovered. I have been working with Bloggers to build relevant safe links, each having a DA of between 10-30. We have developed a Mobile Friendly Website and ios and Android Apps. We have improved Site Speed and moved to a Server within the same Country. We add lots of content and believe we have ticked all the boxes for onpage optimisation. However our DA and PA seems to have dropped slightly after Moz update today. We seem to be jumping in the serps, one day page 4 for "fancy dress" the next day nowhere to be found. I'm not sure what to do next. I'm not expecting to jump back to page 1 for the main keywords but some positive movement would be nice, especially as there are Lower DA Website, not mobile friendly or as fast above us in the serps. What I am looking for I guess is any ideas from you and also what you think about this idea A few people have mentioned that we might stand more of a chance using our domain name example.com instead of example.co.uk. example.com has never been used and is totaly clean (no penaltys ect..) Do we use example.com and move the website and content away from example.co.uk ? if so do we use redirects or would that just pass any hold thats on example.co.uk to the .com version Ideas Welcome Thanks Adam

Hi Everybody If you have 2 Google Place Listings (Local Listings) 1 with 1 Location and 1 with another Location, is there anyway to merge the 2 Accounts. 1 of them has lots of Reviews and the other contains some Reviews so Ideally there would be 1 Account which merges all Reviews into 1 Account Multiple Locations can then be added into the 1 Account. Hi We was hit by the Penguin update a long time ago and we lost a lot of traffic/positions because of this. For a long time we worked really hard to identify all off our links that may have caused us to recieve this penalty. After Months of work we submitted the disavow file and reconsideration request and in June 2014 we recieved confirmation from google in webmaster tools that the manual spam action had been revoked. over time we then started to recieve more traffic and better positions in the serps, however since penguin 3.0 we have dropped again for a range of keywords. many going from page 1 to 2 or page 2 to 3/4 Any ideas what we should do here , any help will be really appriciated as I'm totally confused We havent done any link building at all since the penalty / recovery

Hi Friends We have Meta Descriptions on our Pages but when certain keywords are typed into google search , different meta descriptions are created , for example when searching for "fancy dress" we see our meta description which is correct - Shop with Party Domain for all your Fancy Dress. 1000s of Fancy Dress Ideas at CHEAP Prices. Halloween Fancy Dress. Next Day Delivery and Same Day ... However when searching for "fancy dress costumes" the same page is ranked but the meta description is Fancy Dress. Female Pirate Fancy Dress Costume. £ 13.80. Female Pirate Fancy ... SKU: G11034. Pirate Captain Fancy Dress Costume. £ 12.22. RRP: £ 15.02 ... Thanks Adam

Hi About 2 Months ago I submitted a Disavow File using the Disavow Tool I have collected more links and I am ready to upload a 2nd File, However should I download the previous file in Webmaster Tools (Disavow Tool) and add these new links to that File or if I just upload and override the existing file with this file containing new links only will that be ok. What I dont want to do is do something that removes all the previous findings from the list so that google cannot see them anymore. I guess what I am trying to say is does Google just refer to the live file I am updating / overriding or once I have submitted a file weather i remove it or not will google still have a record of it and be referring to it ? About 4 Months ago I submitted a Disavow file to Google for www.partybox.co.uk which seemed to have improved the position across many terms. However the main term "party supplies" I cannot get to rank any higher than page 6 in the UK. I have no penalties in webmaster tools. Should I see if I can collect anymore links that could be holding the website back for ranking for party supplies or what should i be looking to do ? The website ranks well for other terms that the home page is optimised for such as party stuff but not for party supplies any advice would be great thanks Adam

Hi Today I entered www.partydomain.co.uk through the Moz Page Grader and found that the Home Page is Ranked B. I noticed that an Area we could improve on is the amount of times we are using our main keyword "Fancy Dress" on the home page. Please can you take a look at www.partydomain.co.uk and scroll to the bottom of the page were the tabs are containing losts of content. I am thinking about removing all of thoose Tabs. Our Competitors dont have any content as such on the home page and are ranking higher than Party Domain for "fancy dress" What do you think ? remove all the tabs to be like the others that rank better? Or cut the text right down ? Thanks Adam

I have read that moz have now added the feature to select monthly timeframes when running reports. In my Account, I can only choose Weekly (the previous week) How do i go about selecting Monthly Timeframes? Thanks Adam

Hi I am looking to close Website A which has many pages. I would like to keep the home page and add some great content to it with a link pointing to Website B. As for all the other pages excluding the home page , how is it best to approach them on Website A. Should I redirect them all to the home page of Website A which will tell Google thoose Pages are no longer needed and to prevent the visitors from seeing a 404? My Main aim here is to not lose any visitors to Website A by sending them to Website B but also to hopefully pass any Page strength from Website A to Website B Thanks Adam

Hi I use to have a handy tool in Firefox (Google Toolbar) that was very handy for checking page ranks and what date a page had been cached. For a while with the newer versions of Firefox I cannot seem to locate this useful tool, Can anybody recommend any useful tools for checking the above. Thanks Adam

Hi I hope you can help me A Website I manage has been hit hard by the Panda Update. I am really struggling to understand what is seen as a Spammy link. The Website use to be on page 1 for "fancy dress" now it isnt visable for that term at all and most other terms the site has dropped for. I have looked into what might have gone wrong and have removed several links , used the disavow tool 2-3 times and submitted re-consideration requests, but each time google informs me that they are still detecting unnatural links. Could somebody please take a look at our link profile www.partydomain.co.uk for "fancy dress" as an example and show examples of links you would consider that google might not like. It would also be good if anybody had any contacts in the UK that could help thanks Adam
