@Kateparish thanks for the reply. I am wondering though if there will be duplication issues as one of the sites in geo-targeting the UK using the .co.uk domain??
Thanks

Using same copy on different domain
I have a client that currently has a .com domain (not using hreflang) . They have a new partner in the UK and they want to replicate the website and use a .co.uk domain. It will be a different brand name. Will this cause any SEO issues?

RE: SEO on dynamic website
Thanks - so should we use canonical to handle duplication that may occur by creating the static pages?

Thanks Joseph, should we create static pages and use canonical to handle duplication? Or should we use dynamic URL's in sitemaps?
Thanks

SEO on dynamic website
Hi.
I am hoping you can advise. I have a client in one of my training groups and their site is a golf booking engine where all pages are dynamically created based on parameters used in their website search. They want to know what is the best thing to do for SEO.
They have some landing pages that Google can see but there is only a small bit of text at the top and the rest of the page is dynamically created.
I have advised that they should create landing pages for each of their locations and clubs and use canonicals to handle what Google indexes. Is this the right advice or should they noindex?
Thanks

RE: Using h2 for category on ecommerce website
thanks for your answer. Very helpful. Yes your comments do make sense and had thought about that. I am going to test a few category pages before I roll it across the whole site. Thanks again.

Using h2 for category on ecommerce website
Hi,
I am working on an ecommerce site and the main category - lets call them car widgets - is using a h1 at the top of the page which is great. There are 4 sub categories on the page - lets call one of them red widget. The only content on the page is the sub category name and an image. Should the sub category red widget use a h2?
Thanks
S
