We currently have a scroll bar box at the bottom of our page with information in but from what I can see scroll bar boxes at the bottom of websites looking a little spammy (a lot of over optimized websites using them) would we be best in using a strategy like this site www.solopress.com/ which implement a show more link that drops information down would this be read as good information for Google or look just as spammy?

Building Backlinks to Backlinks?
Should I be building back links to my Back links, I have a fairly decent amount of guest post on decent to standard blogs and just wondered if I should be building a few medium quality back links to these.
I can understand that I should just build all links to my website but there are a lot of opportunities on cheaper blogs such as little better than article submission sites which I would not really want my main site on would this help?

New website on new url?
We have a new website on a new url (been up for around 2 years now) and our old website is slowly fading in the background, we are now at the point where the money is still ok but we are having issues running both side by side, we have a calculator on each page and are thinking about removing this and adding a box with please order from our new site here (with url of similar page).
Now the issue is we don't want to link for SEO purposes and google hammer us (thinking of no - following these) and we also have a penalty we got in 2012 on the site but we did get out of this, would this cause any issue to the new site?

Accordion tab for content?
We have a lot of content we want to add to our pages but want a lot of
it to be in drop down accordion tabs.We will make sure that they are SEO friendly but I would just like to
know if the weight Google gives to text on screen out of accordions is the same
as behind accordion tabs. -

Questioning people that left the website?
If we have a pop up on our site and new customers have subscribed to get 5% off (which i believe shows intent) and they do not purchase would you contact them and find out why they have not purchased to get a better understanding of issues with the website, If so I believe it needs to be more than the standard email of further discount (for example receive an extra 10% discount) or standard do you need help email (we need to either talk direct with them or offer something for there help such as 50% off)
