I have seen that most responses to that questions over time have been the slash line that separates words in the title. Not a dash but the slated vertical line.

RE: Purchasing Quality Backlinks
Kynduvme,
Here is a list of recommended directories by SeoMoz.
http://www.seomoz.org/directories
I just bought a link from the directory business.com and botw.org. Both seemed to be reputable and all of my top competitors are listed with them.

My visibility went from 14% to 3.33% this week. HTTPS Change?
So I am trying to figure out how my google rankings dropped from 3 to 9 This past week. Could it be the new HTTPS security issue? My site was created in HTTP not HTTPS. Is this an easy fix? Can I hire someone on this site to fix this?

RE: Do you trust SEOMoz with your Google Analytics data?
I do ...I hope they are on the up and up! I don't mind them selling it in aggregate but hopefully things that are supposed to be confidential or confidential. I doubt they could have gotten this big by doing bad stuff.

Low page rank directories but high domain authority?
I just paid someone to submit me to a few directories and I saw were I was listed on one of them today. The url page authority of where I was listed was a "1" with zero moz trust and zero moz authority. The root domain authority is a "69". Is page authority or domain authority the most important for links? I believe all the directories I was submitted to have url page authority of "1". ( I watched a video yesterday and I think the head guy said that page authority was most important but I am not sure.

RE: The Effects of "Call for Pricing" Pricing Structures
Big companies hire computer savvy guys to run scripts and to take pricing from thousands of products from hundreds of competitors so they can undercut them or at least be competitive with them and use their strong brand name. This might be one of the reasons for this practice.

RE: Why is the SEOmoz customer service on this site so awful?
William,
The 6 weeks I have been around, I have found it to be a wealth of information and everything has worked fine for me. I think the site is basically for sharing insights collaboratively with other SEO folks and webmasters. Everything has worked fine for me but I am a novice and may not be utilizing everything properly yet.
I have not tried to contact customer support before but I think most issues are resolved on the question and answer board.

44 terms dropped out of the top 3 results on google this past week.
Can anyone take a look at the site and offer suggestions as to what I can do. My visibility went from 13% to 2% over the past two months.
I had 800 organic terms prior to this now I am falling off a cliff. Have no idea what happened. I just switched over to HTTPS 3 weeks ago and it has helped a little.

RE: Do you think Seomoz is worth the monthly fee if you're not a professional SEO ?
I think it is worth it. I have to be a part of this cutting edge community because of all the changes we are doing to our website. I don't want to have to go back and change lots of stuff later on. It has been great and I bug the heck out of all these professionals on here. I like associating with all these smart folks. Plus it is kinda fun to learn a whole new world of information. Hoping that some of there smarts rubs off on me somehow.

Eating popcorn in anticipation with this one.

RE: Should I post an article to the same article site each month or should I vary the sites I post them to?
Depends on where you are at in the SEO timeline. I just started and made one comment on a site and now I get more traffic from that site than several of my paid boards combined. If the comment is on a high traffic board and is very relevant that it could pay big dividends for a new website like mine. On the other hand there may be other great ways to continue developing SEO for the long term. For the short term though..this one comment has been gold for my newbie site.

RE: Does buying thousands of Facebook Fans/Likes affect SEO?
Not sure about the SEO...I guess if others are sharing your content maybe it would help. On the other hand if I went to a site and it had 12,000 likes my first reaction would probably be "spammy". My second reaction would be I wonder how much he paid for those likes. If others can see all your fans in Croatia with a different language theymight think the same thing. I guess it depends on your service area and market.
If fake accounts are being used I am sure eventually the gig will eventually be up!

RE: Sensible way to plan to build Domain Authority
Excellent Question!
My site started out at 18 and in 12 months I have increased it to 38 with the help of suggestions on this site. My goal is to hit 40 by the end of the year. I did this by
#1 Created 22 new root linking domains. (including a few paid from the list of suggested domains on SEOmoz.
#2 Changed my URL's to be more keyword rich
#3 Improved SEO on site with Optimization tools on SEOmoz
#4 Improved content
It has been fun and exciting. I know that if I improve on all the SEOmoz recommended metrics that it will help my search rankings and gradually help me against the competition.
New Things in process to get us to the 50 mark!
#1 Blog
#2 Better landing pages
#3 Web development
#4 More links to pages deeper in site
#5 Continued optimization of webpages on site. etc

RE: Directories - Bad or Good for Link Building (Discussion on Penguin)
Based on results for my "new website" that didn't have but a few links..... and being new to seo for my company....... I highly recommend industry specific directories and some high quality general directories. Not being experienced I may be walking the edge but for a new website it gave our website a very big jump across all SEOmoz factors.
My Domain authority(doubled) and Page Authority (33%) just shot through the roof because I added several new reputable high ranking directories. I also added two or three industry specific links.
Two of the best general directories BOTW.com and Business.com and one industry directory have not been added yet for some reason. . Hopefully those will show up soon and help me a improve a little next month. It has been an exciting journey so far on this new adventure in SEO.

RE: Best Way To Handle Expired Content
EGOL..Your technical response is way above me....could you restate in tyro terms.
Is the expired data hidden? Does the 301 redirect go to homepage or job search page or either? What value does it add? Keywords? I guess the pages would still be indexed in order for value to be created or does a 301 redirect just add all the value on the page it is redirected too? I will also go look up 301 redirects right now.

RE: To land page or not to land page
I have a similar set up and we are going to do landing pages on every page and work towards getting higher conversions. We will also plan on building trust somehow and having social sharing buttons.

Canonical tags
How hard is it to put in Canonical tags on a webpage? My web guy didn't do it because he put in redirects in place for all old URLs and all content
(except error pages and advanced searches) should have a unique URL.By not having canonical tags does it lose link juice? Not sure if that question makes sense.
