i am looking to improve the load speed on my site (it's very poor at the moment) but I am trying to figure out how much I should compress the images on my page by. Is there a sweet spot between making the images as small as possible without losing image quality. I know that this might differ depending on a number of factors by any advice would be very helpful. Thanks

RE: SEO Strategy Report Structure
Nope I think I may be asking for something that is impossible to product. I think what I am trying to get to is a hybrid between the 8 steps from above and then a checklist for content creation that can be shared with anyone producing content. I want a document that lays out a general strategic approach to SEO as well as having the basic hygiene factor best practices included. Is there a template for anything like that?

RE: SEO Strategy Report Structure
Thanks yes I had come across this and it is very helpful. My question was more to do with a structure for presenting an SEO strategy to clients/internal stakeholders. So how do you structure a document that outlines the SEO process. What needs to be included and what can you leave out?

SEO Strategy Report Structure
I am looking to get a structure for an SEO strategy document. While I understand that the specific tactics that you will used will vary significantly from project to project I would love to get my hands on a document that has heading that should be covered off in an SEO strategy report. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks

Competing pages in the purchase funnel
A number of steps in my purchase funnel are competing against each other in the SERP. So wwww.exmaple.com/step1 and wwww.exmaple.com/step2 are both appearing on the SERP. What is the best course of action to stop this. Other than implementing robots.txt on wwww.exmaple.com/step2 is there anything else that I should be doing?

Unique Users higher than Session on Google Analytics
How could us have a situation in Google Analytics where the unique users for given page is higher than the number of sessions?

RE: Direct link vs 302 redirect
Sorry yes I got a bit confused there. It is moved permanently so it should be a 301 rather than 302. But what is difference between the direct link and the 301. Is it just a case that the 301 can be more difficult to implement? I will not actually be implementing the redirect myself. This will be done by a 3rd party webdesign agency. I suppose I am keen to keep as much of the authority as possible from the old domain. Thanks

RE: Twitter interactions
I would agree focus on one twitter account. The only reason you might want a second twitter account is from something like customer service. However very often you will find that this just leads to confusion and customers will mention your marketing twitter account rather than your customer service twitter account. As for the tone of the account that is something that you have to work out on your own. You tone on twitter should reflect your brand. But remember it is a social medium and so generally the tone is more conversational. Hope that this helps.

RE: Google Tag Manager - Debug Mode
Hi Mike
Thanks for getting back to me on this. I think that I have sorted it out. It may have been caused by a mistake when implementing the code.
Thanks

RE: PPC Adwords Trademark Protection
Hi guys as far as I know the complaint form is the one that you use even if there isn't anyone using your trademark at the moment. It was the form that we used when registering our trademark.

RE: Do parameters in a URL make a difference from an SEO point of view
Hi Chad
Thanks for the info. I should have been more specific with my example. The parameter that we use is something along the lines of www.example.com/product/?banner=1 so if I have picked up what you have said correctly I should be able to flag "banner" through webmaster tools and the search engines will ignore the value. Is that correct?
