I have a new domain, The website has three main products. Its a WordPress site. The Objective is Lead Generation.Target Keyword is Stairlifts

The 3 main products are :

Straight StairLifts
Curved Stairtlifts
Reconditions Stairlifts

All the above products have their own dedicated landing page.

My questions are :

1. Should i use all three keywords on the home page ? will that class as kw stuffing?

2. I have to use keywords Stairlifts on the all three landing pages , Will that have a negative impact.

3. What is the best way without confusing the crawler?

Any tips please?

I got a domain http://www.childrensfunkyfurniture.com/ and my main keyword is childrens beds.

Use to be on first page for the last six years now drop to page 2,

I am struggling to find the cause.

Its a very competitive keyword but not being able to come on google result in long tail keywords as well, Just got ranked on brand keywords like PPI LEGAL Services.

Also running out of ideas as to how to create quality content any tips please?

We use http://uk.prweb.com/ its bit expensive but good value for money, and http://www.express-press-release.net/ which is cheaper then prweb.

I have been doing some guest blogging and its hard to find guest blogs opportunities. I have found some but they are direct competitors. Is it safe to write guest post? by the way the are not local competitors. Any suggestion please. thanks

You see different rankings on different computers depend on what kind of browser you use and if you have or haven’t deleted cookies and plug-in data. This does not mean that the real ranking changes, but only that your computer recognizes your searches and shows them  first.

And when i use thecache its goes to 404 page. How did you removed the hacked code, Are you sure you have removed the hacked code. its a wired file that needs removing.

Our dev team did the hard way on one of our client site , they deleted all file on the server and installed a fresh version of wordpress.

You can use webmaster and install site speed using firefox the link is under Labs. And in analytics go to site content then site speed to get the data.

To increase your site speed.

You need to make sure that your css is clean and the images are properly optimise,

And most importantly your hosting provider Which tier network does your server resides, Tier 2 i would prefer as the have just one hop count from the backbone so  you get good speed.

Would recomend Rackspace in US.

I do Agree with you but to be honest, unfortunately clients dont have patience to wait they would like to get quick results. And to earn link you need to have some help from your client in terms of any incentive but they don't want to spend anytime just like us to get on with things,

I had the same issue with a site in april it was hit by penguin, i then started removing link , and had to request for link to be remove numerous time from sites and then wait for google to get index.

i did it till end of june nothing happen also send a request to google the reply was there is no manual penalty but it could be algorithmic penalty  I checked my competitors link profile they were about 70 to 80 %  direct keyword anchor  then i compare it to mine and it was 63% after the analysis i start working on link building . start creating industry niche research content in our blog then some social activities and focus on guest blogging, but my anchor where all brand name or naked anchor . It work for me the SERPs are improving but still a long way to to go. sorry but im just sharing my experience.

Another way is to balance your link profile by creating backlinks Using generic , nacked and brand anchor links to balance things out,

Are you sure it is still awaiting approval? this year january i was crazy about it and i keep asking my seo guys to keep trying and we finally got a link from dmoz but then penguin came and the site got an algorithmic penalty . And lost all the ranking. Dmoz is a good linkback as its a very high link back. but I still have yet to see some benefits, I have change our strategy now working on Content to get more quality links

Yes we have also hired content writer in house and  dedicated designers to create quality infographics, But still yet to see any positive results. Everyone is saying that Content content and quality content is the key,

Other thing is to explain to clients that we would not be doing any of the link building activities and explaining them about penguin gets a bit hard. They want to see the work in bulk , "i mean show me the number" but explaining them that it will be harmful for there website is a bit tricky.

If the infographics is posted on the site then  bookmark first stumbleupon , digg, reddit and  delicious. Then tweet and share it in facebook and google +1. ( The key is your followers)

Then search for relevant blogs or forums then and post comment with link of the infographics, Key is find discussion relevant to the infographics topics.

It works for me simple but effective no rocket science.

And one more thing is that make sure that you have clear instruction of how to share and mentioned that the resource is free for everyone to share.

Do you know about  Rel=Canonical tag,  Its mainly use to handle duplicate content issues.

Also i am not sure if you can use this tag in segments.

Thing is bit scare to change the page layout, if the data is unreliable it could cause the bounce rate to increase and it would cost the client design and development hours. Is there a more accurate tool in the market.

Thanks Stephen, Since june I am using long tail keywords  and url as an anchor text. It's hard to find pr3 dofollow. I am working more in creating Infographics, and social media like facebook , twitter , stumble and pinterest.

both sites haven't  lost any ranking or traffic as yet.

i have removed all 301 redirect from htaccess, Now any 404 page goes to home page with notfound 404.

Thank you so much for your reply , I wanted to say " good answer" but it wont let me cause i already done 3.

I just checked on google analytics, the traffic drop occurs exactly on 24 april., Organic traffic went from 70 to just 9 visit.  One mistake ive done is i already set 301 redirect , should i remove them or should i change the urls, and wait for them to get index again. Just want to try it before starting all over.

Thanks for your reply, I did check but i cant see any obvious spam network links coming to my site nor 1000s of links from one domains, there were a few which i have requested them to remove although they have replied that they have removed but it is still showing on webmaster tools.

My Website ranking went down mid of april, I sent a Reconsideration request and the reply was :

“ We reviewed your site and found no manual actions by the webspam team that might affect your site's ranking in Google. If you've experienced a change in ranking which you suspect may be more than a simple algorithm change, there are other things you may want to investigate as possible causes, such as a major change to your site's content, content management system, or server architecture.”

My site was classic asp and i change that to a new word press theme

I change the site structure and created new fresh content on the entire site focusing on user experience.

But still no positive result in the ranking.

I further did a test and created 3 new landing pages that target long tail keywords with low competition.

Once these pages got indexed the start appearing on first page for couple of days and then gradually the started to go down in ranking now they are not in the top 10 pages.

Now someone told me to buy a new domain and start fresh before i follow this route  I would like to if anyone could help me  should i buy a new domain  and start fresh or should i wait till i start getting my ranking back

My link profile according to open site explorer is 190 links from 74 domains and domain authority is 31.

Thanks for the heads up, but I will look into Hitwise  for the project in question. I just wish to be in a position whereby I am able to quantity where to place concentration based on how visitors are finding client website's. If anyone does know anything within Analytic's that will really be cool!

Google.co.uk is ambiguous at best, it is geo targeted for the UK, however, by default all results incorporate "The Web" meaning outside the UK. If a user wishes to filter to "Pages From UK" then they have to click that specifically.

Now my clients regularly ask me whether the traffic they are getting is from Google.co.uk (The Web) or Google.co.uk (Pages from UK) In analytics it combines these two as single source = Google.co.uk without any further breakdown, is there a way to figure this out. If I can split the figures then I can run necessary additional comparisons etc.
