RE: Found a Typo in URL, what's the best practice to fix it?
Why not just use Redirect 301 /gre-atsites http://www.myexample.com/great-site ?

RE: How to go about removing bad/irrelevent links?
There's no quick route for SEO. Work slow, and do your work properly. I think that ipositions' suggesting is by far the best one - look-up contact details, contact them and request to remove the link. Patience helps

RE: For better SEO I understand I should be using Google+, but under what identity?
Be transparent, be yourself, and gain influence. Otherwise, suck at everything.

RE: ECommerce site - Duplicate pages problem.
I think the best solution to get something properly done on your website, if you're displaying a page with 20 products (by default) and it has a complicated extension to see the next one ( domain.com/?abc=123etc#321 ) you have a significant problem that you should be concerned about more - whether it's domain.com/category/page/1/ and page/2/.
In theory, page/1/ and page/2/ (blog style) contain the same content as the home page (/1/ or /). Some practices are noindex, follow for any page [2-∞). You should definitely consider rel=canonical across the site though. It's essential. As well as rel="next" rel="prev".

A link from an about page is 10x stronger than a footer link.

RE: Server crashed - What should I do regarding Google SERP´s?
Sorry to hear about that. A few things to consider when you're choosing your server location is that if you are targeting to Uruguay, the server should probably be physically sitting in Uruguay (with clean IP).
I would say that it would be necessary to fetch/submit after the problems have been corrected. Things like this happen, all the time - to everyone, even the best. If you lost ranking - you'll get them back in no time just continue to produce good quality and you'll be fine

RE: Guest blogging on a "network" of sites. Good or BAD?
It's a risky situation. When you're letting user add content on their own what you get is a large editorial team going through grammar issues, and making sure that you're not being spammed and that your content isn't duplicated (<-- probably the most serious case). You lose quality control. You won't know if a user is spamming this content after it's been published on your site in 10 other network sites.
