We've no intention of using them... Just that they've made these claims that there is some magic Google agency discount out there somewhere! But I can't find any evidence of such...

RE: Adwords Bulk Discount
No and thats the big issue here, you get reports on their 'platform' only, no access to the actual adwords account...

RE: Adwords Bulk Discount
Asked exactly that... They reckon they make their commission on part of the discount they receive through from Google.... So say they receive a 10% discount, they are passing 5% on to us... Essentially i'm looking to discredit their claim that they receive some sort of special pricing from Google...!

RE: Adwords Bulk Discount
Yep eating into the management fee was my original thought but, they claim they don't charge a management fee! I just can't understand how they're making such a claim... Bizzarre...

Adwords Bulk Discount
Had a few calls recently from agencies offering bulk discount on Google Adwords spends if we pass management over to them and spend more than £5,000 ($7,500) a month, they claim they can offer a 5% discount over what we're currently paying... Can't find anything about this, does Google offer such a deal to agencies?

Online Pharmacy Client
So... Have a client with a physical pharmacy in the UK, they are looking to branch out and start selling online... Primarily high value 'embarrassing medicines' etc... The have an existing companynamepharmacy.co.uk domain that has acted as a brochure site for the past 4 years (thats the domain age) still with low domain authority etc but they've also purchased a keyword match domain citynameonlinepharmacy.co.uk which they thought would be better to use...
They are fully prepared for a reasonable wait on the organic listings and will head up the project with PPC and Google shopping integration which is known to be successful for other similar online pharmacies...
Anyone tackled building an online pharmacy site from the ground up with any advice, specifically on the domain front, there is a trade off between the newly registered keyword match domain and the 4 year old company name match - Its clear with a pharma industry site we need to build trust so need to tick every box on that front...

Buying a SERPs competitor domain / site
For a specific term, we have the potential opportunity to purchase the domain (complete with site) that sits just above us in the Google search results... The domain has reasonable page authority of 49, domain authority of 38 with 168 linking root domains - 311 total links...
Would the most beneficial use of the domain be to retain the site content as is and incorporate a few relevant links back to our site or... 301 the entire domain?

Using alt-codes such as ? in META title / description
Noticed a search result recently that really caught my eye and certainly stood out among the other 10 results on the page, the META description contained the following snippet:
"Learn more about our ★★★★★ rated service..."
Any opinions on how using such alt-chars might effect search positioning when used in either the title or description META tags? The starts certainly looked very different to anything else on the page...
The claim of 5 star rated service was pretty much accurate so it was genuine and fair to use it...

Http v https
We have an ecommerce site retailing relatively high value products - precious metals - We have a VeriSign SSL certificate for the domain... Weighing up the advantages of pointing all visitors through https on the domain, there is a benefit of customer confidence, but from a search engine - say Google's point of view, will delivering the site over https have any trust factor or benefits?
