There are several industries that can thank their existence to the motor. Variable frequency drives (VFDs) and soft starters control motors; gear reducers and gearbox work in concert with a motor, enclosures, clutches, brakes, encoders, line filters, and shaft grounding brushes all support the function of a motor. And, of course, ball bearings play a key role in the health of your motor.
