Hey Tim, if DNS is working and nothing else to be done but waiting from Google to get it fixed, just keep waiting and one day you'll see a green sign when start working again. My site has shown with red alert then a yellow sign saying dns error, checked my dns and everything is working.

RE: Fetch as Google issues
Hey Tim, Blocked resources is totally different than DNS error, that shouldn't cause any issues. Check your DNS and make sure is working, again, if it's working, that is just something should be corrected by Google soon. Have you tried fetching it again?
Thanks!

RE: Fetch as Google issues
Hi Tim,
Firstly you might want to check if your certificate is working properly through https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html then make sure check for any dns troubleshooting through www.who.is and if everything is working, it should be something from Google and just keep fetching it by giving a try in next day or couple hours, it happened to mine and everything is working now.
Good luck!

RE: Can we ignore "broken links" without redirecting to "new pages"?
It is recommended you redirect page1 to page 2, don't worry about if there is any back link or not, Google already crawled the page1 and now if it turns to 404 you'll loose google rank given to that page. Let's say you go to your favorite restaurant and when you get there you found that the store is closed permanently, what you'll do you'll start looking for new restaurant, same issue with SEO here.
Hope this helps.

RE: Move domain to new domain, for how much time should I keep forwarding?
Hey Oleg,
again, thank you for answering to this. Just to make sure, this is more than 3 weeks now, in other words I'm good to cancel the old domain now or should I keep it as a referral?

RE: Move domain to new domain, for how much time should I keep forwarding?
Hi Oleg, thank you so much for your response. I have actually done all of the canonical too and removed hreflangs as I did it to alternate the switch from https as it wasn't recognizing but all done. The site still not going much I'm not sure if it's about the Fred they are talking about now or don't know, however, the question is how long should I keep the old domain been forwarding?
Thanks!

Move domain to new domain, for how much time should I keep forwarding?
I'm not sure but my website looks like is not getting it's juice as supposed to be. As we already know, google preferred https sites and this is what happened to mine, it was been crawling as https but when the time came to move my domain to new domain, I used 301 or domain forwarding service, unfortunately they didn't have a way to forward from https to new https, they only had regular http to https, when users clicked to my old domain from google search my site was returned to "site does not exist", I used hreflang at least that google would detect my new domain been forwarding and yes it worked but now I'm wondering, for how much time should I keep the forwarding the old domain to the new one, my site looks like is not going up, I have changed all the external links, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
