Multiple Locations for Tire Shop Should I Name them Differently?
We just started SEO for a shop that has 3 locations. Oddly 2 are on one road and the other is not. Should we name them differently in Google?
Bobs #1
Bobs#2
Bobs #3
Wondering if there is an SEO benefit to that?
Also should I set up directory listings for each location?
There is not ONE main location they are all equal.

RE: If my home page never shows up in SERPS but other pages do, does that mean Google is penalizing me?
When you say do site search do you mean do this?
www.xyz.com : search
or
http://www.xyz.com : search

If my home page never shows up in SERPS but other pages do, does that mean Google is penalizing me?
So my website I do local SEO for, xyz.com is finally getting better on some keywords (Thanks SEOMOZ)
But only pages that are like this xyz.com/better_widgets_ or xyz.com/mousetrap_removals
Is Google penalizing me possibly for some duplicate content websites I have out there (working on, I know I know it is bad)...

Fixing Dead Links How To Figure Out Where I Put Them
I changed the permalinks on our about page from xyz.com/about to xyz.com/about-xyz-newyork
However somewhere on my site I have the old link on a page with the old url.
How do find which pages have my old dead 404 link?
Thanks

How to know which pages are indexed by Google?
So apparently we have some sites that are just duplicates of our original main site but aiming at different markets/cities. They have completely different urls but are the same content as our main site with different market/city changed.
How do I know for sure which ones are indexed. I enter the url into Google and its not there. Even if I put in " around " it. Is there another way to query google for my site?
Is there a website that will tell you which ones are indexed?
This is probably a dumb question.

Multiple Sites Duplicate Content Best Practice
Hi there, I have one client (atlantawidgets.com) who has a main site. But also has duplicate sites with different urls targeting specific geo areas.
I.e. (widgetmakersinmarietta.com)
-
Would it be best to go ahead and create a static home page at these add'l sites and make the rest of the site be nonindexed?
-
Or should I go in and allow more pages to be indexed and change the content? If so how many, 3, 5, 8? I don't have tons of time at this point.
3)If I change content within the duplicate sites, what % do I need to change. Does switching the order of the sentences of the content count? Or does it need to be 100%fresh?
Thanks everyone.

RE: Asking Robots to Crawl? Does this really work?
Speaking of site age at the top of the website I see this.
Does Google see that date and give them more cred?

Creating a Blog of Rodent Removal Companies?
I am helping a small company. Lets say rodent removal is their service.
But local SEO for rodent removal is very very competitive in my town and across America.
Would a website/blog dedicated to highlighting rodent removers across America be good for my company? We have had nice success with wordpress.com blogs.
Supposing I gave 6 other rodent removal companies a free guest post (always 300 words or more) or whatever to post on my blog.
Of course, none of these companies would be in my market.
Would that help my local SEO? I am thinking long term here?
Looks like your connection to Moz was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
