My academic background is in marketing research/social psychology, but I have spent most of my recent career in a dual role that fits somewhere between customer experience and user experience. I'm a big nerd who loves Ubuntu, statistics, text analysis, PHP, and standards compliant HTML/CSS. My last two gigs have been in either physical or internet security. When I'm not being a geek, I operate a very small (though award winning) magazine and write about a number of fields including privacy, critical race, anti-poverty, and human rights. I still don't know what I'm going to be when I grow up, but if you have any ideas, please share!
