RE: Linked in Company Profile

RE: Location specific services pages
I see no harm in doing this as long as the content on both the pages is different and relevant to the type of audiences in both the target locations.

RE: Agency footer link, do we keep it ?
There was an interesting discussion related to this sometime back on Google Groups. https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!msg/webmasters/pX0sI1KOnTM/60MmAnGN5fsJ
The conclusion I would say is that you can link from the client websites, but make sure you do not stuff keywords in the anchor text. As long as someone is linking with the brand name, it shouldn't have any issues.

RE: Rankings fluctuating by around 10 pages between night and day
If you are directly checking in Google.com then browser history, cache, IP, all play a role in generating results. If you want to get the real picture, try stealth setting in your browser. It does not consider cache or IP and gives almost accurate results.
I say almost, coz when it comes to Google, nothing is transparent.

RE: Duplicate Page Title - although there are differences
I wouldn't worry about it too much. It is probably a bug that is not accepting special characters. Google does recognize C++ and C# as separate and thus, you should be fine with these titles.

RE: Merge google plus and google plus business
From the looks of it, you seem to be right, one is a Google plus page for your business i.e. https://plus.google.com/112981948934843525105/about. The other one is a Google plus profile for that login which you are using.
There is no way to merge both the profile as both are different entities. The best way would be to make your personal profile under your name to avoid ambiguity and use only the page to promote your business. You can also share the posts made on the page on your personal profile.
Hope this helps.

RE: Infographics and articles on the same page
Yes definitely adding the Infographics at the top is the best way. Make sure you syndicate the infographics on various social media profiles as well.

RE: Are high quality press release syndication site links valuable?
Matt Cutts has repeatedly said that Google does not give importance to links from press releases and does not use them for ranking purposes.
However, we have personally run many campaigns of PR where we were able to get ranking to our websites using anchor text links from the press releases. So, I would say the links are still valuable even if they are syndication.
But then these high PR sites are very good for branding and generating traffic to your website. So, don't worry too much about getting the link benefit as syndication will help your site no matter what.

RE: Blog posts copied to Facebook or Linked? Any Duplicate Content Issues?
If you want to share your blogpost content on Facebook then the best way is to share it via updates or add the link to the notes. You can also rewrite the summary of the blogpost and add a catchy text so that people click the link to go to your blog.
For e.g. Latest trends show that............ To read more on this, click....

RE: Decline in ranking for a particular theme of keywords after Penguin 2.0
Drop in a particular theme of keywords is not unusual. It is highly possible that the particular theme has more relevant content on other sites or you have probably done over linking with same anchor text for that theme of keywords.
We also saw the same trend happening for one of our clients, but we removed the links, improved the content, and the rank was back up.

RE: I am looking for teh traffic on all our keywords. Can this done in one go or do we have to check one by one?
Hi Tom
Thanks for the reply.
I don't think I wrote the question well though ! I just wanted to know if there was a way of uploading all your keywords into the system to get the traffic report on all of the phrases in one go, rather than enter them one by one or going to the Google Keyword tool.
Thanks
David

I am looking for teh traffic on all our keywords. Can this done in one go or do we have to check one by one?
I have all my key phrases in excel (csv) and would like to upload all of them to get the traffic that they generate on Google UK. Is there a way of doing this?
