Hello EGOL,
Thank you for your reply, always enjoy reading what you have to say.
If I was to pay someone $25 an hour for a piece of content that took a week to complete, then that would be a $1000 article based on a 40 hour week.
Surely you have built up your readers, twitter account and email list over time and are at a stage where people are just ready and waiting to reference your posts.
I am not financially equipped to produce a $1000 article and wait a year for it to become ranked, this is all defendant on income in vs income out.
If I am earning $100 a year from 1 post that is costing me $1000 to produce then I am going to need to make a huge investment where I would just break even.
If I work to this equation that by paying $1000 per week with an income of $100 per year then after 52 weeks I would have made an investment of $49,454.00 and be earning $97.92 per week
It would actually take me 522 weeks to earn $1000 a week with a total investment of just over 1/4 million dollars and would take 1043 weeks to fully recuperate that money.
Even if I could earn $1000 a year from 1 blog post it would take 1 year just to break even and an investment of $25000. You may be able to afford $1000 articles but I certainly can't.
Would love to see one of these articles that takes a week to produce, mind sharing?
