RE: How to make up for the low WOT score caused by spam in the past?
Yes these are exactly what we are doing since 2012, and the WOT score just increase too slow.
Most of people who feels bad with your website or company will leave a low rating on WOT, while few people feels good with our website will go to mark a high score.

How to make up for the low WOT score caused by spam in the past?
Before 2012, our employees used to spam in the forums as we are not that skilled in SEO at that time. And it caused a low WOT score and some people report us as spam.
But since 2012, I forced them to stop all kinds of spam activities, but it always take 10x works to make up for the mistake made before.
Now we are totally focus on the white-hat SEO, and how can we improve the WOT score? Thanks.
I've already requested a review, and they said that they need more time to re-rate my site.

RE: GA E-Commerce can't tell the real order source?
Hi Martijn,
Thanks for the reply.
After nearly 5 hours work, I have finally solved it out.
First I need to add
_gaq.push(['_setDomainName', 'none']);
_gaq.push(['_setAllowLinker', true]);Then I also need add the onclick="_gaq.push(['_link', this.href]); return false;" on the link which point out to the transaction website.
I have tested and it worked, now I can check the keywords which bring me orders.
However, thanks for you reply.

GA E-Commerce can't tell the real order source?
I put the e-commerce tracking code on the transaction platform (Regnow) finishing page, but all the orders displayed in GA can't tell the real order source.
Instead, most of orders are from direct(none), and referrals from my site. So this is obviously wrong.
I need the accurate order source such as google organic or google ppc, then I can find which keyword brings me orders.
After some searches, I guess the reason is cookie domain. My GA is set as single domain tracking. And I didn't put any cookie domain code on the Regnow's transaction finishing page.
The codes I put on the page are:
So, suppose my site is "www.example.com". How to make sure I can track the real order source on the Regnow's transaction finishing page? Should I set my GA to track multi top-level domains, and put _gaq.push(['_setDomainName', '']); code on the tracking page? How to set the domain name, "none" or "example.com"??
Thanks in advance.

Best practice for multi-language site?
Recently our company is going to expand our site from just english to multi-language, including english, french, german, japanese, and chinese.
I deeply understand a solid and feasible plan is pretty important, so I want to ask you mozzers for help before we taking action!
Our site is a business site which sells eBook software, for the product pages, the ranks are taken by famous software download sites like cnet, softonic, etc. So the main source of our organic traffic is the guide post, long-tail keywords.
We are going to manually translate the product pages and guide post pages which targeting on important keywords into other languages. Not the entire english site.
So my primary question is: should I use the sub-domain or sub-category to build the non-english pages? "www.example.com/fr/" or "fr.example.com"?
The second question: As we are going to manually translate the entire pages into other languages, should I use the "rel=alternate hreflang=x" tags? Because Google's official guideline says if we only translate the navigations or just part of the content, we should use this tag.
And what's your tips for building a multi-language site? Please let me know them as much as possible
Thanks!

RE: What will you do when seeing the rank and traffic are dropping?
Wow Ed, what an answer.
I pretty much agree with "are you selling less, do you have less subscriptions, are you getting less enquiries ?". Yes that's the real goal of our sites, not just traffic and ranks.
Thanks again for you reply.
I am gonna keep watching the site's performance and keep discussing.

RE: Is it possible to add language tag on a single foreign language page?
Hi Sheldon,
question again: I read the Google's official guide of the rel=alternate hreflang=x tag, Google says that if your page's navigation, sidebars are translated, or you want to target on specific region which use similar language, you can use this tag.
But for me, I just have 4-5 fully translated pages, not just translate navigation or sidebar, should I use this tag?

What will you do when seeing the rank and traffic are dropping?
No black-hat SEO strategy was adopted, so we suppose it's not a penalty, but ranks and organic traffics are dropping.
What will you do in this situation?
And how long it takes for you to make sure it's not a normal flux, but something wrong happens on your site?
Thanks in advance

RE: Does Audience Overview in goole analytics contain visits from adwords.
The "Audience --- Overview" contains every visits, of course including paid traffic. Unless you have set an advanced segment to filter the paid traffics
