Prior to embarking in my web design career, I lived and worked for six years in China, helping to establish a non-profit organization that works to empower the underprivileged in some of the more rugged areas of that country. I still have strong connections overseas and remain keenly interested in other languages and cultures.

When I returned from China in 2004 I settled upon web design as the primary outlet for my natural inclination to create. I enjoy organizing, designing, building, making something that previously wasn't there, or taking something that already exists and making it more beautiful. The Internet has become my medium of choice, with HTML and CSS the tools in my toolbox.
