I would wait a little bit as Google just recently split the accounts that way and this might just be a bug that will be resolved shortly.

Benefiting or not, make sure users have the ability to turn this off to avoid privacy problems.
It might create a mess though if they link back and forth.

RE: How bad is a negative MOZ rating
The -1 probably means that you don't have any yet. Wait until the next Linkscape update some time in August and see then again. Give it some time.

RE: Pages For Products That Don't Exist Yet?
I think this is a very common thing to do, and I'd recommend you do the same. I wouldn't do it crazy ahead, but if a product comes soon, why not give yourself an advantage.

RE: Where does "Pages Similar" link text come from?
Did you do a lot of anchor text linking for 'costume'?

RE: Multiple links from Dmoz/Google directories worldwide
They still seem to rank crazy high due to this though.

RE: Multiple links from Dmoz/Google directories worldwide
While this is a rather old question, I am wondering the same thing. One of our keywords has a website ( http://www.terakeet.com )ranking that is completely unrelated and has no optimization for that keyword it seems, but has literally hundreds of links from Google directories in all kinds of countries which all link to DMOZ when you try to submit a site. Does submitting to DMOZ list you in every one of Googles directories?

RE: Linking to root domain or specific sub-site
Total of 10-20. That includes the pre- and suffices. I am using only about 4 base keywords (very competitive though). Thanks for your advice, will target some sub-directories to get those up individually. The root is quite solid already, just was wondering if boosting it up even more would help all other keywords.

RE: Linking to root domain or specific sub-site
It is a few base keywords with expansions. Basically it is:
keyword
free keyword
keyword online
free keyword online
In this pattern. Overall I am currently going after maybe 10-20 keywords total. It isn't that all links will be going in to root.
And yes, I do mean sub directories. Sorry for using improper lingo.

Linking to root domain or specific sub-site
Hello,
When optimizing for multiple keywords, should I try to get links back to the root domain of the company I work with, or would it be better to link back to sub-sites specific to the keyword I am optimizing for? Does 'getting the root up' help all keywords I work with?
Cheers,
Mike
