Mike Sallander co-founded Chicago Digital in 2009 and BC Academe in 2012 with childhood friend, Scott Shefler. The two of them have been creating websites together for as long as they have known each other.
Mike Sallander loves solving problems; making the world of web development a natural fit for him as he creates solutions rapidly, while quickly and continuously improving upon them. With a belief that anything is possible, Mike lives his life with curiosity and enthusiasm. He is a perpetual learner in all areas of his life and takes great satisfaction in discovering/creating new things and sharing with others. While Mike is not working, you may catch him ballroom dancing or playing video games (and he will let you know he was one of the Beta testers for Xbox Live).
Mike’s Business Catalyst experience has spanned sales, consulting, project management, website design, website development, online marketing, training and support. He is also an Adobe Community Leader, co-running the Chicago BC User Group.
Graduating from the University of Illinois with a degree in Management Information Systems and minor in Technology & Management, Mike has a diverse educational background combining the disciplines of Business and Engineering.
