Hello!
I've recently had an opportunity to jump into the SEO/Social media bandwagon, and am now trying to suck in as much information as I can, trying to get my head around it all. A bit about me:

I'm from Montreal and trained in Fine Arts/New Medias at Concordia University. I've been working mostly with video/sound/installations, and have a specialization in electronic textiles. Like a lot of you, I'm self-taught in SEO techniques and concepts. I'm finding myself more and more intrigued by the power of SEO and it's turning into a passion for me. It's a bit removed from Fine Arts, but there's still something about it that satisfies my craving for anything creative!

Now I was offered through a friend an opportunity to start off in this field, which is quite stressful since I'm still quite the newbie. Everything I learn, I apply. Of course I'm bound to make mistakes (hopefully none that would hinder my employer!), but I'm surprised at how fast I'm learning about all things SEO. SEOMoz is truly a life-saver for me, what a great source of informations!
