Does Google take into account the place where the server is hosted to rank the pages.

What I mean is, if I have a server in USA and I am working for the Spain marketplace: Will Google rank better my pages for this market if the server were hosted in Spain?

I have a sports website in which users write their opinions about the sporting events that take place every day throughout the year.

Each of these sporting events generates a new page or URL indicating the match with date. For example:  www.domain.com/baseball/boston-v-yankees-04-24-2012-1234.html

The teams face several times a year, and each match creates a different URL or page.

I would like to link old pages to new pages and vice versa.

How would you recommend these pages to be linked? Linking them to each other or linking old pages to new pages that are generated or otherwise?

I would appreciate your orientation and help in this case.

I have a simple question, I have a website and i want to create a news category. I want to know what is the best way to create a url friendly for this category. I was looking around for news website like New York Times, and others, they use a format like this for the url

http://domain.com/year/month/day/category/ etc.

My question is about the use of the date in that format, like subdirectory, can somebody explain me about it. Any reason to use this format?

What is the diference between using this format like: http://domain.com/news/çategory/article-date-id.html and this one use for the new york time shown before.

Wich one will be work better?

I have a subdomain forum in my website, for example: http://forum.mywebsite.com/, the point is that i'm not sure how to create the url pagination and title in the index of each category. Let's say that i have 10 categories, right, and i want to do the pagination for the index of each category. An example of a url for the category is: http://forum.mywebsite.com/category-one/, here i have the posts for this category i will present 10 for page, next when any user click to see the posts in the second page i have this url: http://forum.mywebsite.com/category-one/page1.html.

Here is where i have the problem, the url for the pagination it is ok, but the problem will be the titles for the continues pages (page2.html, page3.html, etc), it can't be the same one of the first url. So what can i do to avoid the problem of same titles in differents urls or any solution whit out any trouble for the spider.

Hi guys, i'm having problems with duplicated page title, and i want to know what is the best way to avoid this problem.

Title page (A): Product name A - category - section

Title page (B): Product name B - category - section,

Hi guys thank you so much for your help. I have another think, looking deep in the report i saw a duplicate page title, it is a section like products reviews, for example like this:

Url 1: Title 1 : I like the product - product reviw name of product

Url 2: Title 2 : How can i get the product - product reviw name of product

Why this is condider like a same title page, can somebody help me to clear this doubt.

And what can i do to resolve this problem.

Hi i'm a new guy around here, but i'm having this problem in my website.

Using de Seomoz tools i ran a camping to my website, in results i get to many errors for duplicate conten, for example,

http://www.mysite/blue/

http://www.mysite/blue/index.html, so my question is,

what is the best way to resolve this problem, use a 301 or use the rel canonical tag?
