Im not able to change my primary email from there, and thats the problem.
I can only change primary email by deleting it, and im afraid that will erase alot of content on my YouTube channel.
By a mistake, Google have added on of our employeers gmail as the primary mail, that are attached to our YouTube channel.
We want to delete that gmail, but without loosing our data, and all the information we have on our channel.
We also want to connect to G+ with a new gmail, but now it seems that Google have created a G+ profile related to the "wrong" gmail.
Have anyone got experience with this problem, and have a solution for this?
Hi
Im about to establish a G+ account, and i just want to know if anyone inhere has some insights that might be useful in that proces.
Its gonna be a company profile, and its important that its combined with our SEM-account.
Is there any pointers in order to do this, any good advices on how to create a profile?
Hi
Thanks for your reply - it was excactly what i was looking for :-).
This is not only a SEO-excersice, its also an excersice in giving people relevant information about our company - and using the right channels to do that - and as far as im concerned the two things are close related, and will be furthermore in the future.
Twitter and Facebook are a given for our company, we need to be on those social media, and i don't know if there is anything we can do in order to optimize those for SEO-purposes?
And then i will start creating a Google plus profile, and trying to integrate Google +1 oppertunities on our site.
Your thoughts about Tumblr and Pinterest are very interesting, but it seems that where we are located (Denmark), it will be Instagram that will be the 3rd biggest social network, behind Facebook and Twitter, so if we add ressources into a fourth social network (besides Facebook, Twitter and Google+) it will probably be Instagram.
Hi
At the moment im trying to make a social media strategy for the company i work in, whcis is a big insurance company. Of course i want to add value on the different social media, but i also want to take into account which value the social media can add to my SEO.
Facebook
We have a profile on Facebook, with around 5.000 likes, and as far as im concerned the important thing on Facebook is to get people to share your links?
Google+ At the moment we dont have a Google+ account, but my suggestion would be that we create one . maybe not to generate alot of content, but in order to get more info on the branded search results - and i have a presumption that Google will put more and more emphasis on Google+ in the updates that lies ahead.
Twitter We have a profile, but are there anything we could do in order to optimize the SEO-effect via Twitter - what i have heard is that because their links are no-follow it dosent have any effect on SEO.
Instagram
Is there anything to gain on SEO if you create a profile on Instagram?
Please let me hear your views on this.
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
Thanks for quick and competent reply.
I guess the reason that google only have registred 8 pages, is that many of the pages we have csref on are campaign pages, and they havent "lived" for so long yet.
As i understand you, there are two ways to proceed with this. One beeing informing in Google Webmaster Tools that google should ignore the csref-parameter, and the other beeing the canonical links.
The first is quite straight forward i guess, its just a matter of registrering in Google Webmaster Tools, that all URLs with www.tryg.dk as main domain, should not be followed by Google.
The latter im not that sure of how to proceed with, its a matter of registrering every page with csref with a cannoical link? Or how is the best way to proceed with that.
Hi,
Thanks for reply - yes, we have the 301 redirects in order.
We are quite a big company, and high profiled, so we have to be aware of competitors or other people who wants to damage our brand, but then again, we also need to cut our costs :-).
So the way i will proceed with this is:
1. Make sure we have the most important branded URLs, or actually all of them, so all ourdomain.everything, so that we also have www.ourdomain.xxx.
2. Go through the URLs we have, and keep the ones that give us link equity - i will test this via Site Explorer, and get rid of the ones that does not have any link equity.
Hi,
At my company we have alot of URLs (around 500), which are purchased for different reasons, some for defensive reasons, some because we think we potentiallly could use them in the future.
Now we want to "clean up" this list, in order to minimize costs, butt im unsure about some of the URLs, and have some questions that in some way all are SEO-related.
How used are the .xxx domains, we have alot of them of defensive reasons, but im not sure that we have anything to fear, whats your take on that? - and arent .xxx domains excluded by the search engines?
We have alot of URLs which we redirect to our main domain, some of them have been their own domains before, and some of them are just redirects. When i remove these, i get two challenges:
1. If someone links to that domain, i wont be able to redirect them anymore.
2. If the domain have a good Page Authority in itself, i loose that link juice.
Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
It is excactly a URL generated based on our tracking codes, f.eg. when i look in the list of duplicated content on our page here in SeoMoz, i get the following URLs:
http://www.tryg.dk/om-tryg/fakta-om-tryg/samarbejdspartnere/index.html?csref=Disclaimer_Nordea http://www.tryg.dk/om-tryg/fakta-om-tryg/samarbejdspartnere/index.html?csref=Bundmenu_Om_Tryg_Vores_Partnere
http://www.tryg.dk/om-tryg/fakta-om-tryg/samarbejdspartnere/index.html
The latter beeing the "original" page for this, and the two above beeing page URLs generated by URLs with csrefs, which are generated by our tracking via Omniture.
So my question is how i make sure that it do not have a negative effect on our SEO.
Hi,
When i go trough my page, i can see that alot of my csref codes result in duplicate content, when SeoMoz run their analysis of my pages.
Off course i get important knowledge through my csref codes, but im quite uncertain of how much it effects my SEO-results.
Does anyone have any insights in this? Should i be more cautios to use csref-codes or dosent it create problems that are big enough for me to worry about them.

We are the biggest insurance company in Denmark and one of the biggest in Norway.
Looks like your connection to Moz was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
