I have a website that is imposed partial action by Google due to unnatural links.  We are in the process to clean up those links.  At the same time, I want to add more content to the same website.  My concern is whether the new content pages will be affected by Google's action as well.  Should I wait until we finish the cleanup and get a green light from Google?  In addition, will it be worth doing some on-page optimization on the pages that are affected by unnatural links and Google's penalty?  Please advise. My reconsideration request was declined by Google.  Google said that some of the links to my site (www.pianomother.com) are still outside its quality guidelines.  We provide piano lessons and sheet music on the site. Three samples are given. 1. http://www.willbeavis.com/links.htm 2. http://vivienzone.blogspot.com/2009/06/learning-how-to-play-piano.html 3. http://interiorpianoservice.com/links/ The first one is obvious because it is a link exchange page.  I don't understand why the 2nd and 3rd ones are considered "inorganic links" by Google. The 2nd link is a blog that covers various topics including music, health, computer, etc.  The 3rd one is a page of the site that provides piano related services.  Other resources related to piano including my website are listed on the page. Google WMT shows that there are thousands of links pointing to the pages of my website from mrwhatis.net. Among the links, hundreds of them have the same anchor text.  Here are some examples. http://mrwhatis.net/a-canon-in-music-for-kid.html

http://mrwhatis.net/canon-d-major-piano-sheet-fre.html and more.... The links pointing to my site on the above pages share the same link title "Canon In D Sheet Music | Canon In D Music Score". My question is - are these links considered unnatural links by Google based on your experience?  Why and why not?  I want to get some ideas before I ask Google to disavow these links. Thanks. John

Somebody embedded a link to one of my websites on the sidebar of her blog.  It ends up hundreds of links from this blog.  Will this type of links be considered unnatural links by Google?  Here is the url of the blog. http://chordsandmore.blogspot.com/ To find the link to my site, please search "yoke wong". Hi, I am new to moz. There are a lot of tools and information in moz. I am very excited. I also went through the Howtos sections. I am trying to use moz tools to optimize my own website. Is there a case study to show the process to do that by using your tools? Do you recommend any study articles or videos that can shorten my learning curve? Thanks. John
