Hi Oleg,
Thanks for your valuable reply. My website is affected by Panda 4.2. So, should I go with Sub-folder or Sub-domain in this case.
Hi Friends,
This is my website http://goo.gl/fYndv. As of now, we have only one domain and we have contents in both English & Arabic. Arabic is translated content from English. So, we use alternate tags to indicate Google about that. We mostly receive traffic from Saudi Arabia because we are based out there. Now, we are planning to target major countries like India, Australia & So on. We know like creating sub-folders over sub-domains would be good like example.com/in/ over in.exmaple.com.
But we are not going to change any contents only currency gets changed in those geo-graphic sub-domains or sub-folders. I just want to know, since I am not going to change the contents will it be good if I go with sub-folder like example.com/in. Is there any chance for Google penalization?
Hi Friends,
My company website is a Travel related website and it is 18 years old domain. We purchased this domain in the year 2010 from a 3rd party person. That person was using the domain as a software portal like brothersoft.com. That person generated so many backlinks from software related websites like forums, gaming websites and so on. So, do I need to clean all those backlinks now because all those backlinks are from high page rank websites.
Not only the above concern I have. My website is very popular in Saudi and we get lot of backlinks naturally sometimes from the irrelevant niche. So, is it necessary to clean up those backlinks also. Pls advice me on this.
Thanks Matt will look in to the presentation.
We have bundle of webpages where we load the content dynamically with the help of Ajax. Since we, need to implement Ajax crawl scheme for making Google to read those Ajax dynamic content we planned to go with hashbang URL's (!#) by creating HTMl snapshots. But last week Google withdrawn their support on crawling the Ajax crawling scheme we are planning to go with progressive enhancement approach as stated by Google in a press release.
So, I just want to know what is meant by progressive enhancement and how we can implement in the case of webpages where we load the content dynamically with the help of Ajax? Please advice me on this.
Thanks Dmitrii, your thread helped me a lot to understand.
Hi Robert,
Thanks for your prompt response. Then what do you think the reason for my sites drop in rankings when Panda 4.2 was updated. I have attached my index status as well as Organic Traffic. Panda 4.2 started on July 17th and on July 19th my index status increased and from July 19th my organic traffic went down. Any advice on this.
Hi Friends,
Few of my friends told me that index status of a website goes down goes if it is penalized by Google. I can see my organic traffic has went down drastically after the Panda update on July 17th 2015 but index status still remains the same. So, I am bit confused. Any advice on this.
Hi,
I am just eager to know that how Google handles the websites like craigslist.org because this is a classified website and also the same user we can expect to post with same title and description in many classified websites. So, this will cause many duplicate content issues and also thin content issues. So, how does Google treat this kind of websites.
Thanks in Advance
