But for some reason it doen't seem to appear and our site doesn't show for local searches but is much stronger than the ones that do appear.

Local search optimisation
One of the major keywords in our industry “fireplaces” is now viewed as a local search phrase & Google seems to be displaying website results that it views to be local businesses. We have 2 stores, and for some reason they do not appear high on the rankings despite us having a physical location near by... can anyone help?
Also, we have a verified location on Google place, but even that doesn’t appear.

For a varied product type or keywords group is it best to have several sites?
Hello everyone...
Question: I have 7-8 generic keywords that I would like to rank for, is it possible for one site to rank highly for all these different keywords, or would this be best achieved by making 2 or 3 websites in total targeting different keywords (product sectors)?
More info:
-
We are in a niche industry & would like to know if it would be beneficial to have several websites made for specific product types rather than one main site?
-
Although these sub classifications of products are nice, they are competitive as they have a high search volume
-
Would it be better to build specific websites that only do that one type of product and have related keyword in domain, content & blogs on the site to that effect to increase relevance and positions as a result?
Thanks

Are multiple embeds of the same video considered content duplication?
We are considering using Wistia to host our “new” video content on our website. Currently we use YouTube and find many people watch our technical videos (Eg. Fitting videos have10k + views, which is very high for our niche industry)
-
We currently have “the same” YouTube videos embedded on several different blog posts on our website, as the video is still relevant to what the post talks about
-
Question: Since Wistia updates our video Robot.Txt file, would multiple embeds of the “same video” be seen as content duplication on google & “be harmful” as a result?
Thanks
