Why delete content?
If this content is indexed well, my solution would be a 'This job-search is closed, but we got more like this!' section on all closed / expired threads.

That sucks...
A year ago I would have said to create a portal of domain B with shallow content that links to domain A. I was in the same situation.
The problem is that nobody is going to feed domain B if the company becomes non-existent. The page will drop eventually. Besides that, google doesn't seem to like shallow portal websites ;).
Right now I would:
dirty work...
So what your saying is:
1. SEOmoz says these pages can't get indexed by search engines because of our robot.txt
2. We don't want these pages indexed and blocked them using robots.txt
My initial reaction is: no problem, SEOmoz is just showing you as a 'confirmation warning' that these pages are not indexed, but since you did that on purpose, it's okay.
Hope this helps!
Some SEO's try to minimize the internal link-juice-exchange by using internal no-follow as well.
I personally doubt if it will help, but I think the intention is to focus all PageRank on the homepage and not distribute it to subpages such as 'customer services'.
I think you need to implement a 'canonical tag' on this page.
Check out Rand's post on it here:
Hi there,
In a week or two I'll give my first internet marketing presentation to a local business club. Ill walk them through the basics of what is happening online, and how both B2B and B2C business can use their online assets as marketing tools.
I want some basic statistical data to back up my story, like:
To top it all off, I would also like to be able to show both worldwide and The Netherlands data.
What is my best bet for some serious datamining ;)?
Thanks in advance for helping me out!
